Sorry for the potentially noobie question, but If I want to order two 'Vim' keys via this group buy, is that possible? I've PM'd the OP already and I've had a read of the wiki, but I just wanted to confirm that I can order such a relatively small number of keycaps.

I guess an alternative would be I could combine my small order with someone else's larger order (maybe another Aussie?) and pay them.

Not exactly, the RGB for Retro are for the text color, not the key color.  Look at 7bits rendering above.

Make sure to use STANDARD, as STD, STD87 have been renamed.  Colors are correct.  Spacebar will fit Filco.

Am I the only one that is bothered by backspace being 2 words? I noticed this on my round 3 set the other day and it drives me nuts now. I don't know if I've ever seen a keyboard that has backspace as 2 words.

...and a quick look on ebay netted me 0 keyboards with backspace as two words.

I can live with it lol.

On the other hand, if you dig the forum further, backspace key along with the control key are considered "defective" mainly due to the wrong letter spacings. If I am not mistaken they will be fixed.

If you want the classic VIM key white on green, spherical, row 3, just order:

VIM 2

If you want it to match a specific style:
ROUND3/VIM comes in white on very dark grey
ROUND3/VIM/GREEN comes in white on green

1 key or 100,000 keys, Round4 will still provide!!

It is black, because you need the RGB keys for the black variant of the RETRO style. The other would be RETRO/RGB with no color code and is as shown in my layout graphic (RGB(Y) text on dark grey).

Personnally, I'm not interested in keys matching perfectly in color (which they will surely not), but for RGB modifiers these would be quite useful.

there is just no other option than taking CHERRYWHITE or CHERRYBLACK for completing a set of Cherry Doubleshots. And I dont want RGBs, I think. I would rather buy a complete set of ALL modifiers with RETRO or DARK style, but there is no. Thats OK. I will try the CHERRYWHITE or maybe switch to black or even RGB...

What is photoshop?

I will use inkscape, but don't ask me too much about it. I'm not an expert in SVG graphics.

To measure lines I transform the SVG to a pixel graphic using Gimp. I scale it such that it fits into 1084x904 pixels (hxw), because on a gegular jey, the legend can be 10.84mm tall and 9.04mm wide.

This means that 1 pixel is 1/100 mm.

There are not too many choices:

- white on very dark grey / grey (the Dolch scheme).
- the Retro style like in the picture or graphic or in white on black.
- the Dark style with black on very dark grey or orange on very dark grey.
