My KBC Poker pings more loudly and with a higher pitch than any of the Filcos I heard in this thread, not sure what all the fuss is about.

RMA it to iMav.  He said if you have a problem like this it's the reseller's responsibility to make it right.
Neva! My daily driver is a Model F, so iPing for life!

Real men don't put up with brand new $150 defective merchandise just because insecure admin-favorite forum trolls who can get polls deleted by request because they don't like the result attack and belittle them relentlessly without any consequence.

I wish Filco customers demanded better key caps as often and as strongly as they demand ping-less boards.

Filco caps are bottom rung on a "premium" keyboard.  I propose we change directions here and focus on something filco/diatec can unquestionably fix for us.

The causes of ping need to be further investigated (preferably by vendors/manufacturers; but our hobbyists are resouceful and inquiring, and already seem to be presenting solutions)

Caps not ping!

Good call.  If they give you any flak that it's normal, point them to this poll.

A German Filco owner posted this sound clip.

This means just that the majority of the people here, find very hard to admit they have spent a bunch of money to get a pretty average board.

I'm sure psychologists have an exact word to describe this behavior.

I don't understand this whole ping issue. Buckling Springs ping all day, and nobody complains. My Model F pings more than all these pingy Cherry boards together. Buckling Spring users unite!
