Yeah I'm not taking pre-orders for the extras.  I'll put up a thread for them after I get the original orders squared away.

Man, I'm excited for these keys. Maybe it's because of the nostalgic RGBY color scheme, or perhaps just the thought of getting a nice red escape finally.

My plan is to start up a third round moogle buy soon after I ship the RGBY orders.  Hopefully the new Ctrl/Alt/Shift legends will look good enough not to require adjustment.  Then we'll just need new legends for Caps Lock, Win, and Menu.  Some people have been agitating for including Tab, Enter, and Backspace too, but that seems like overkill to me.

I think next moogle kit should include both shifts instead of just right shift. Everything else is over kill (enter, tab, backspace)

Works for me.  Again, hopefully the left shift legend from this buy won't need adjustment.

Don't you find it odd that your enter/tab/backspace feels different then your other modifiers and also they look different too?

I dunno maybe it's just me then :P

Definitely a left shift though.

Since there are some moogle customers here, let me ask a question.  Is doing a dedicated moogle buy so close to R4's (presumed?) end a **** move?

Yours does, but quite a few people have double shots from G81-1800 boards with a short right shift.

R4 will never close, whenever it's close to closing 7Bit adds new stuff, then everything gets more expensive and then more complaining, then 7Bit adds more stuff, rinse and repeat.

I want my moogle kits before 2014 please

ah tanks for the clarifications.
also about the Round 4 thing, i would get in touch with 7bit and check how many buyers for moogle sets there are. i assume that you can take them over if you do a dedicated moogle buy. less stress for 7bit i suppose.

Honestly, it does. But I don't use them enough to justify spending cash for them.

Shifts, on the other hand, get used a lot.

Either way, I'm buying next moogle kit.

I would include a Wyse version, but it would complicate pricing.  Might be better off as its own buy.

I would say no.  Rd4 is about sets mostly. Theres a huge demand for moogles. But very few people want to pay 50 bucks for them. Any ideas on pricing? Should be similar to the rgb set no? Maybe a little more.

Would it really complicate it? I mean I think one group with the 4 different types would be best.

CHERRYBLACK
CHERRYWHITE
CHERRYDOLCH
CHERRYWYSE

I know I would get all 4 :-)

Complicates it just because it's different font and whatnot where the all 3 Cherry would be the same font

I think it should have it's own GB also.

I was thinking mainly of spreading the cost of new legends across the Cherry/Dolch kits but not the Wyse kits.  It's not that much work, I suppose.

I have three WYSE sets, I'd be in for 1-2 WYSE moogle kits.

'cause WYSE is the best. You might also want to add an option for the ever-popular WYSE arrows, but that might be more suitable if the WYSE is it's own GB.

Do we know what color gray & blue would be for the WYSE moogle kit? If we do I could run that one separate if that makes it easier for the other 3 using the new legends

Dunno, but I have a set of ABS color samples we can use to figure out the closest match if needs be.

Hah. My thick set isn't brittle at all (I suppose 'cause they're thick) and my thin sets are too new to be brittel (Except the spacebar, but it's 10x)

I used the front-row capslock key as backspace for several months.

One point about WYSE: If anyone harvested from the full-size boards, then they're okay with shift, backspace, etc. But all the terminal 'boards I have are smaller, and the right shift, backspace, etc are too small. Would there be a possibility for an "addon kit" including this, or would I be out in the cold with no shift or backspace?

dorkvador is correct.  The keys in my picture are from 2 sets of caps.  The alpha-numeric keycaps are thick from non-full size Wyse, the other keys are thin from full size Wyse.  They feel very solid to type on.  Notice the ~` key is shorter because that key was on a different row on the non-full size Wyse keyboard.

Hey, I talked to Hashbaz, and I'm going to run the WYSE moogle buy and he's going to run the others. I'll get started on that as soon as possible. If someone could give me a SP friendly list of the necessary keys, I'll get things rolling on it. Let's say one list with just the mods and another with the proposed "addon kit". I'll get quotes and decide what's best from there.
Risen from the dead for a model F.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

I'm not old enough to have even seen a wyse board. I only see cherry POS here in Minnesota. And the businesses throw them out when they get dirty... Dumbasses... Then they replace them with cheapo ****astic rubber domes!

My dad's work threw out a bunch of boards with clears!... I only found out after the fact.
