Pretty much this. Plus I’m way too nice to start talking bad about someone who really could have some trouble, to call moscow debt collecting (seriously?), or to screw over paypal… :-/ Being nice sucks. ^^

WTF does this have to do with any imagined problems he might be having? IT'S NOT HIS MONEY, IT'S OURS. You're not taking anything from him, he took something from all of us, and then vanished. Serious problems or not, that doesn't give him the right (no matter how nice you are) to keep our money.

This. He's holding thousands of our dollars, hasn't said a thing in weeks, and apparently hasn't even made an order.

There's a time to be understanding and a time to ask WTF is going on.

Everyone should be receiving their refunds right now from Changdrew. He just arrived back home about an hour ago from a family emergency in China. He had no access to internet there, so he was unable to communicate with anyone and tell them where he was or what he was doing. He knows he screwed up bad and feels really really bad about it. Of course nothing can make up for the fact that he has prolonged the group buy and didn't even go through with it. Taobao orders were packaged way before this emergency happened, and he planned on shipping them but was unable to. He will ship out the packages as soon as possible.

Now that this fiasco and done and over with.. I assume Rag will take over and redo it the way it should be done.

Just a word of caution in the mix here.  During the first tour of my Cherry switch tester we were sure for weeks that one guy had just walked off with it.  Much later we found out he had in fact been in the hospital, near death.  His brother forwarded the tester on and we all felt like douches for badmouthing him in the thread.

I think most of the community would agree SP caps are a lot more useful if you participate in most GH GBs.

If he's going to refund the money I'm just going to revise the statement etc to just ask for a refund. I thought that was what was going on but its pretty hard to stand by him with no defense but faith since I'm pretty grounded in logic. I'll throw up a new order thread if people can forward me the images from the last one. I'm willing to do basically all the keys from the last round and I think I wanted to do a couple more too.

I'd very much like this as well, but I'll be happy with the keys either way since the ones I was interested in are basically all going on the F-row or Num-row.

Changdrew, I am very sorry to hear that you had a family emergency. I know that is rough. I hope things work out for the best.

That said, a simple phone call to a friend or SOMEONE on here or DT who could let us know what was going on would have been appreciated.

For those of you on your high horse about being patient and not filing disputes with Paypal or whatever, just climb on down, fellows. We were ALL very patient with Changdrew during the group buy phase and beyond; so much so, in fact, that the dispute period with Paypal had lapsed for almost every single one of us. The ONLY reason you got your refunds is because the majority of us raised some kind of hell with either Paypal or our card issuer or bank.

Correct, the Taobao GB is still a go from what we know. Everything was ordered, packaged up, and ready to ship. We should (fingers crossed) see them sometime very soon.

Sending Imsto a bag of keys is funny. It would be better to tell Imsto the price, that we’re willing to pay it and to send him teh moneyz, I think. He could think about stocking them himself then.

@Zehkul, much appreciated for the pics, makes mine and imsto's life a lot easier. I still have to ask him how he gets such clear images and what program/printing setup he's using since SP does it in a way that certain images get really grainy if you scale them down. That's currently what is holding up the SC2 keysets I have planned- needs more clarity!

SP profile does fit all the other keysets we have though, so I'd really like to use that if possible. There are so many custom sets that use it now that most of us have SP keys on one board or another.
