Hoping that someone can give me some insight on these two keycap sets. Haven't seen them for a while on r/mm, and am turning to Geekhack for some help:

SP SA Nantucket Selectric R1: TKL base + homing pack + Specialty add on + Cape Cod add on + Amity Island add on. Additional/Separately purchased keys: The ortho blanks and red spacebar were ordered separately from SP to match the kit. Set also includes a Clueboard esc novelty. Bought these for $400usd. I can consider selling it without the ortho blanks for cheaper (not sure that will make a difference though).
Keycap set is new, never used. link: https://imgur.com/LRg48Ku

SP SA Troubled Minds R1: Base (Alphas + mods) + Non-Standard + Eva01/Joker Kit + Alternative Color + Planck/Atomic + Numpad
Bought these for $285 on r/mm just before R2 came out. Don't know if these are worth anything anymore! The alphas have shine. Link: https://imgur.com/G5DCl44

Thanks in advance

Old Logo Dell branded Model M

Let's assume with replacement keycaps. I'm just not quite sure how sought after that logo is on a model M.

I bought one in the low-$100 range several years ago and transplanted orange Alps into it.

They are not easy to find, if you want one you might consider paying up to $200, maybe more.

Just a guess.
Warren had a plan for everything. Bernie has a plan for nothing, or vague ones in a briefing book somewhere. If you have a question, she has an answer and if you waited long enough after a speech, she held office hours where she would explain the finer points of restructuring institutions holding working people down – a health care system that bankrupted them, college costs that crippled them, and banks that exploited them.
By the fall, after hundreds of lectures, rallies attracting 10,000 roaring fans, and stellar performances at debates, she was a front runner. It didn’t last. When everyone was yelling last fall for a price tag for Medicare for All, Warren, the A student, stepped up and offered one. That bought breathing room for Sanders, who still hasn’t. And Warren suggested there would be a transition period before anyone’s private insurance would be taken away. That was heresy to purists but not enough reassurance to moderates to keep her from sinking in the polls.

Price check on a SGI Granite board in very good shape. A few small scuffs on the bottom of the case, but no yellowing or other defects. The caps are in pristine shape, no yellowing, shine, or marks. The switches are in great shape also, very clean & smooth. No rust on the plate & basically no debris were on the inside of the case when I had it open to check. I believe this board had very little if any use TBH, the scuffs on the bottom case I suspect were from poor storage. I do not have the cord or mouse that goes along with the board. Not planning on selling this board, I just got it for a really good deal & want a better ideal of it's market value. Thanks in advance for any info on it! :thumb:

I have a CM Masterkeys Pro S with MX Browns and Varmilo PBT Dye-sub dark grey caps on it. The board is in great shape and has all the original accessories and keycaps, and I have the numpad keycaps from the Varmillo set. How much could I sell it for?

It appears while taking my hiatus the prices of second-hand customs have skyrocketed. Looking for a fair price range on Kingsavers. I've seen recent ones on /r/mechmarket go for 700-1200. To me, anything past 750 is a bit ridiculous as I have never even spent more than 1000 on an OTD board a couple years ago.

I'd say they are around 800-1000$ but they aren't very frequent out in the open so prices are kinda hard to estimate

Thanks for the help. I've lost all desire to accumulate a collection of keyboards as I typically always settle typing on one board for an extended period of time. For the longest time, I've just wanted to experience a well-built alps board. I'm a bit hesitant to invest that much on a board that I do not know whether or not I will enjoy it. I have too many expensive hobbies.

Got super lucky (hopefully) and found a '94 and 2000 Model M for $20 for both (well, $40 after shipping...). They have all the keys, cables (phone-style plug, can't remember what it's called), and besides being dirty and slightly yellowed and one having some relatively minor case damage, they appear to be in good shape.

Assuming I cleaned them up and they work fine (they should, according to the seller anyway), how much could I get for them? I'm in Canada (though the prices I said earlier were in USD, since I bought them from US Ebay). Hell, would someone on here be willing to trade me for...something? Thanks!

Hey all, tried r/MechMarket but got no response, thought I would try here. I would like to build my own 60% and I have three model m's laying around that I cleaned up and thought of selling them to use the money on a new build. It seems as though the prices vary on these boards a lot, so I thought I would try and get a value on mine.

I find the Cube interesting because it has a date of 95, but still uses an AT connector (I have the adapter to PS2)

Hey folks,

Looking for a price check.

I've two NOS IBM SSK's, both sealed, though I opened one for pictures today

Both are in the original IBM boxes, and are from a local electronics warehouse raid a few years ago.

From shipping label on box:
Ship No:  1397680
ID No:  5052768
Date:  Mar 03, 1993

From the one that I opened, it doesn't appear that a PS/2 cable was included.

Part No:  1397681
Fru:  1397685
ID No:  5052768
Date:  3-3-93
Pl T No:  F7
Model M

Made in USA (obviously) :)

I've another few dozen Model M's to refurb, but only a small handful of cables, and no desire to purchase more, nor to supply Soarer's cables.

What would be a reasonable price/max price here with shipping and cable NOT included? I can provide pix if that is needed

Note that one the one I opened has not and will not be tested. It is new/opened only for pictures and will remain so. Also full disclosure - there was a single plastic rivet that was inside the keyboard. While that shouldn't surprise anyone here, I just wanted to be up front. I've no plans on opening that new keyboard unless the consensus is that it would help to better sell.
. Thanks for your time!

I'd personally say box is irrelevant if it's not the original box or not in good shape (or the keyboard isn't new/barely used), but the board is worth quite a bit. I'd say at least $400 but that might be too low or possibly too high, idk.

What is an IBM Model M in Industrial Gray worth?

What about if it's in a box? not the original but in a Model M box?
I'd personally say box is irrelevant if it's not the original box or not in good shape (or the keyboard isn't new/barely used), but the board is worth quite a bit. I'd say at least $400 but that might be too low or possibly too high, idk.

alrighty, I was feeling around that myself, thank you.

That seems way high unless it is an early one and/or in pristine condition.

Remember that Unicomp is still selling replacement cases:

That was another concern I had, if it was a replacement case model, or not.

I think with my research yesterday and my responses here, I'll be giving it a pass. One day though I'll have an Industrial M. That'd be neat.

appreciate you guys, Fohat, and Kelvin.

Good point. I assumed it was an early IBM one and in good shape. If that was the case I think it would be worth $400 but I still might be wrong lol

What’s a m65-A going for without the PCB? I saw a slightly used one but didn’t know what to pay

How much would an Matrix Lab Abel-X kit be worth? I see the earlier Abel versions go for around 300-400, so I'm wondering if that's what I'm expected to pay for an Abel-X?

I’ve got a “stock” and barely used input club K-type from Massdrop. It’s fitted with the supplied Halo Clears. What could I get for it?

I also have a brand new and unused Realforce 87U TKL Keyboard I’m looking to sale but unsure what it’s worth.

I’m in Denmark and paid EU VAT. Assuming it’s worth “more” to a European buyer in this case?

Zenith Z150 AT in 9/10 shape and switches in 7/10 shape for a Leading Edge DC-2014 that's dirty but apparently switches are in good shape. Good deal?

IBM Model M; Part #1390131; Serial #1084249; Date 05-Sep-86

What's a fair price for it in excellent condition?
