Ohhh at least refund the money to your friend, after all you are keeping their keys.  Don't get nasty to buddies after all they trusted you in getting the keys for them, at least hand back their moolah so they don't feel totally ripped after this group buy. 

You just feel so decent in handing back their money and they won't decide to sling you out of a moving car........ with this so-called failed Group Buy.

Hi;

   I got my caps (Thanks!) and just layed them out to take a good look at them.

  I noticed that my 'White lettering on Red' keys look great, except for some of the longer ones like the right shift.

  From some angles they also look great. But at others they look a little 'mottled'.  A bit like there are two or three horizontal darker red bands (going left to right) across the key top.

  It's kind of subtle, and I'll have to see if I can get a picture. It seems most noticeable looking from the left or right .

  I guess my first question is, is this how they all are?

P.S.: I attached a picture (I hope). I bumped up the contrast a little. In the picture you can just make out some striping on the enter, backspace, shift, etc.

  And as mentioned before, they look better from other angles, so I don't know if this a texture thing or what.

  I don't see this on the base white set, or the 'grey' kit. Only the red.

If theres every another group buy for this set planned would there be enough interest in getting a "Command ⌘" key made to replace the Win key?

Since I'm a mac user myself, I'd really like to include command keys as standard with the base kits. Its all about what everyone is willing to pay for though, if I include them in the base set and 90% of the users are on windows, then 90% of the users are paying for an extra useless key. Since its only 1 key its not a big deal, but again its how the community reacts.

@Gbohn, that's an inherent problem with having the "strong" colors in doubleshots. The dye occasionally collects into darker areas and there's really nothing that can be done about it. It is how most of them are, yes, but there is variance in the intensity of the effect. If it is really an issue I can swap them out with one of the leftovers I have and it'll go to someone who likely isn't bothered by it. Again many of them have those traits, and its up to your OCD whether its impactful or not.
