Well, I dunno--it might not work out!  I've been on the fence about my Vortex set: I love how it feels, but the gray modifiers just clash with my current case.  Going to see if they fit better with some blue-green to them.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just got done ordering two new color schemes for my Filco Minila. They are blank DSA PBT (except for the spacebar which was only availabe in ABS for the 3.00X sizing.

Only had to order the spacebar, left control and left shift as separate, individual keys since the base and modifier sets included enough spare 1.00 keys to accomodate the oddball configuration in the lower right of the board.

Can't wait! I will be able to have either:

1. An all white board
            or
2. White letter and number keys with green keys on the modifiers and all of the outer keys (I'll set it up similar to the white/gray style of the HHKB).

I'm pretty sure I'll be one of the only Minila owners to have switched out every key on their board, or at least I haven't seen anybody post pics of theirs.

The DK9008G2 PRO Dark Grey PBT (Green MX) arrived last week. Sweeeeeeet!!!!

The shipping box was squashed badly enough to dent the keyboard box. Thankfully no damage to the keyboard itself.

I dared to bring it at the office for a try. No go for the green MX. I got a couples of WTF comments from neighbors. I didn't wait to get one from my boss.

I really like the fit and finish. Nice job Ducky.

:)

Me too, but MX blacks, and engraved.
