I got my Realforce 55g today and the 55g switches are amazing. I haven't tried a 45g or variable Realforce before, but I have used the HHKB. I can see why people steal 55g switches off the Realforce boards for it. Just wish I could afford a donor board.
Anniversary edition looks nice.
I switched from 88UB 45g to HHKB, which i've been using since. I tried out the 88UB again a little while back (its on loan to my girlfriend) and I realised how nice and solid that board feels compared to the HHKB. Due to the layout of the HHKB, I now need ANSI instead of ISO so I can remap that backspace key (HHKB got that sooo right), and so I thought for my final board I will take the cool looking 10th anniversary edition for my prize. Hopefully that will be the end of this madness! ...Until I get the itch for a leopold 660C again xD
Besides that rant... glad you are liking the 55g switch, i'm hoping they will be a little more poppy for me (which is where the 45g became boring). 55g on a HHKB sounds like a nice idea, but sadly too much effort for me. I've tried to carry out a few mods on different things and usually end up failing or giving up
lol
