Thick pbt dye subbed caps from feng. I have to shave a little bit of the spacebar so the stabilizer doesn't grind against the cap. If anyone has any pointers on doing that please let me know.

Is the spacebar straight?  Or is it warped?  It could be grinding due to some warping.  If it's warped, try straightening it first by placing it into very hot (near boiling) water for a minute, then take it out,  and press against something very flat (like a marble countertop).  May need to repeat it once or twice.

Apparently there was some project in Korea for replacement 1800 and 3000 PCB from calavera post on last page. Though really, all that needs to be done is a new controller that can drop in directly pin for pin to replace the common 40pin ICs that were used on the original PCB, then the owner can add in switch diodes themselves. Probably be a cheaper and easier project solution to upgrade all the old 2KRO G80s. Someone that knows what they are doing should get on that.
