sad that my mini isn't here yet :(

Kinda like getting a set of keycaps before the keyboard arrived.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

sad that my mini isn't here yet :(

Kinda like getting a set of keycaps before the keyboard arrived.
Heh. My iPad arrived in Taiwan this morning around 9am. I assume it's on a plane right now. Hoping that it goes through AK & Memphis fast.. if it does I'll probably have it tomorrow. Highly doubt it though. :(

After being marked as 'delivered' TWO DAYS AGO, this thing finally showed up. ****ing USPS...When people don't have any fear in losing their jobs, they simply won't give a ****.

Yea! So happy everything worked out. :D
Serisouly though, screw USPS. The amount of crap I deal with from USPS is almost not worth the cheap shipping costs.

I don't know about you guys... but USPS loves Canada. I've never lost a package coming from the US. Hell, I've lost more stuff from shipping inside Canada than anywhere else in the world.

I'm glad I didn't have to resort to this:

ill never forgive USPS for losing 300 dollar worth of sneakers
holy **** i'd be so ****ing mad

i'd burn down my local usps center

The only problem is no one at the local USPS is liable for losing your ****. They simply don't give a ****. They receive nothing but complaints and pissed of callers like myself. They know the USPS is underfunded but providing even more negative service won't improve their situation. People will only grow to have a negative view of the USPS and eventually it might be privatized. Then, they would REALLY have to fear for their jobs...and I've seen many of them first-hand with such poor customer service and general not-giving-a-**** attitude. I'd be the first one to cheer on their massive layoffs.

Amen to this. Although I have found it varies by location. Some USPS offices are great, some are pretty crappy. There are 3 USPS offices close to me and only one provides decent customer service.

I can't even count the amount of times I've had a package marked as delivered--and it has been--but the carrier forgot to put the key in my box. It usually happens on a Saturday, too  :'(
