Tahiti V2!  :D

(Waaaaaaaay too Blue, will do some CC later when I get back home)
[snip]

Colour is closer to this pic:
[snip]

MX Blue stem vs Tahiti V2: nub on MX Blue breaks off, leaves a tiny notch in the back  :)))
[snip]

Man that is a thick cap; stem and sidewalls are really awesome looking! I can't wait to see what keyboard you pair this with Zeal!
I don't have a keycap set that's teal/pink D: I just really liked the look of it! I'll have to find a way to incorporate it into a keyset ;)

Cough... or... you know...

I heard Sifobro is looking for a Tahiti.
GL on your search, but this one's TBC's.  :))

wwhhhhaaat!  woah generous.  so thanks.

Sure, I'll send you a Tahiti along with a TRRS cable.  ;)

AC!D isn't a good game, it's not very well made and is very hard to learn to play, AC!D2 is much much better but still requires some grinding (which is a shame). If you can pick up a PSP cheap they are fun but not worth buying a PSP for, especially as PW came to the PS3 and 360 anyway ;)

PO is terrible lol, the controls are borderline unusable lol... plus it has very little VO making it not much fun to play for the story... plus its non cannon sooo..... but, Ghost Bable (the GBC MGS) is pretty good I'm told! ;)

Black or red? More importantly, how do they compare to your MDs!

I got my FC660C just now! This is actually the first sentence I have ever typed on a Topre!

So far... words cannot describe. Yeah, I think I am a Topre fanboy now. I always loved tactile but didn't know what to expect with this. It is pretty much everything I wanted. Tight, prominent tactile and solid actuation (definitely due to the EXCELLENT build quality of this boad).

I ordered the grey one, but thought the case was still black. To my surprise, the case is a dark grey and the keys are a light grey. I will say this, the picture of the keyboard on EK has very inaccurate in terms of key cap color. Even my pictures it was hard to get the exact color of the keys. Weird but also kind of cool.

The ONLY thing I don't like, I would say, is the clack on the upstroke. But I don't know if that is just because I saw people mod it and I love the sound even more with it modded. I will be doing this in a week or so with landing pads.

Anyway, the board definitely meets my expectations and since I never see many pictures of the grey LC660C, I decided to post some eye candy for you all! Enjoy. (Pictures 1 and 4 have the closes representation of the actual keycap's color).

I will be writing a full review and filming a video review when the new purchase euphoria wears off.

Neither, more like a dark plum and it is a large difference from the MD.  They sound like a different headphone, but keep that comfort.

Mr. Speakers had 5 "defective" units with his new sparkle finish, and the defect was that the color was "too purple".  He marked them down and put them online at like 4AM EST.  Had to snag.

Congrats! I had no idea the dye-sub version was coming out or I would've waited for it. 660C makes me want to sell all my Cherry boards and go full Topre (didn't someone say never go full Topre??).... come on already CM MX sliders, I still want to use all my custom cap sets!

HAHA nice Tropical Thunder reference.

Honestly, I was in the same boat as I was waiting for CM to release it's board. However, given the fact that people have been raving about the LC660C's quality and how it even feels more solid than an HHKB, I just HAD to pick one up. My plan was to go light grey and white with the keycaps, but given how much nicer these grey keys are then they looked in the EK picture, I might just grab a spare of the Realforce keys and use those whites with the stock grey modifiers. I also feel like Topre novelty keys are in less demand and usually a little easier to pick up in the Classfields. Even thought I am yet to get my hands on one. Which sort of proves my point since I never owned a Topre.

Jesus people are going to hate me on the forums. I am going to be looking for the slightest excuse to type posts!!

Doesn't the 660c have leopold profile which is lower than Realforce? Or is that only for the 660m?

Also I think topre novelty keycaps would be higher in demand since there is less of them available.

In any case, congrats and enjoy your new board!

Just the bottom row up to the arrows (the space bar also fits). I am really looking to just replace the alphas. Dustinhxc's board is my inspiration but I am going to do things a little different as I am going for an NES controller theme.

Here is Dustinhxc's board

As for Topre being in high demand, I guess what you are saying makes sense. However, whenever I see key caps for sale the Topres seem to be more available as the Cherry MX ones usually get sold out instantly. I could be wrong, I guess it varies depending on key cap etc.. Only time will tell. Let's just hope I can get lucky and catch one retail.. (yeah right) haha.

DSA Dolch came in today, and I'm currently putting the keycaps on!

However, my spacebar is getting stuck...:(

The DSA spacebar is getting stuck right under the bump on my stock clear switch, but not enough to actuate it. I'm not sure if my stabilizer is off or not though. My IMSTO RGB cherry set's spacebar also feels like it gets stuck when pressed at certain angles, albeit it's less noticeable. :(

I think my stabilizer on this Ducky might be a hair off...

Trying to get used to DSA atm. First time using it, and it's weird having such a small "groove" for my fingertips.

i think that's the exact problem i have spacebars on my ducky.

1st press is fine.  2nd takes like 2-3 seconds before it gets past the bump.  the 3rd press never gets past the bump.  rinse and repeat until i fix it.

it's not actually broken...something is just misaligned.  it's really weird.    i guess it's the mx equivalent of the buckling spring spring misalignment problem.

imo, dsa works best with flatter boards. otherwise, my fingers feel like they're going to slide off cause the angle is the opposite of a regular key.

Mine doesn't even bounce back up at all once I've fully depressed the spacebar into the switch. I need to completely bottom out on the spacebar for it to bounce back up. It also doesn't help that I'm using a clear switch on the already-mis-aligned/tight spacebar. =/

Yeah, I can see DSA being useful for flatter boards. My fingers aren't used to touching thin air when I reach for the upper keys. :P

Miami caps from epzy!

Next up, finding some nice purple LEDs to swap out the green ones. Maybe also play a bit with some other switches :)

wow my monitor can't color today

I think it might be time for a new one, everything is way too green.

I'll check my color balance.

The last shots make the color of the caps look great! :D

Thanks. I tried to show the contrast since I thought the Leopold had a black case with the grey keys, which is definitely does not. :P
