Sweet :)  Looks like he has made himself at home already!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'll shoot you that cable asap so you can actually use the thing...or hope the converter works.  :thumb:

Got my first BS boards today, an SSK and an XT.

More pics of my SSK and XT in the state the came in: https://imgur.com/a/3XRLl

SSK: All the keys seem to be there, some coffee(?) stains, some dirt, marking on the back and no cable. But seems to be pretty great refurbishment piece if the internals won't be filled with coffee. Probably going to start with this when I have time; clean it, bolt mod, ISO conversion, soarer's converter to inside the case and new USB cable.

XT: Some dirt and dents but otherwise seems to be in pretty great shape. Hopefully this is eventually going to become XTant modded when they start to sell PCBs, plates and keysets.

He hasn't tried to lay on my keyboards yet... every time he gets on my desk I just grab him and put him on the floor. He did make it up one time and start stepping on the keys of my boards though lol.

Then kendama on the left is actually a gift for my sister.

Got this board from YongJK. Thanks again for this beauty.

And a few with caps.

Got this Cyrillic Tsangan set from Originative.

Got a few Cassette tapes (it was about the same price to get the tapes and the digital copies instead of just the digital copy, so why not )

we had a couple in the US

all the one im sending, im sanding the plates a couple time, ive been doing a couple mins each side with 80 grit, then a few mins each side with 120 grit, leaves a gorgeous finish and gets rid of any imperfections caused by the steel cutting

I have found that a final step with a ScotchBrite™ fine pad (red or grey) across s.s. plates produces a real nice finish. I think you'll like the results.

Something arrived fast wonder what it is?

Hotkey Warmasters :D

They feel nice to touch all bumpy and nice, they remind me of space marine terminators :p the only fault I have with them is they feel a bit cheaper than gasmask but I think that down to the change in how the stem is put in, making the walls of the key thinner.
