Just got my Pok3r and it looks amazing. This is the first mechanical keyboard that I've ever had that is white. Usually when I see a white keyboard it's just not my thing but this one just looked so good that I just had to see it for myself. It did not disappoint. Beautiful keyboard.
Build quality is great. This tiny little thing is built like a tank. Easy to see why aluminum cases are so popular. The PBT keycaps are great. While it would have been perfect had they been dye subbed or doubleshot, they're still great and obviously can be replaced at any time. I got this with Blues since the Clears were out of stock. It doesn't bother me since Blues are my favorite switch but I did want to try the Clears. Oh well maybe some other keyboard, some other time.
As for the layers, after typing this short review, it's obvious it's going to take some time to get use to it. I never realized how much I used page/up/down, home/end, and the arrow keys. But with dip switch #3 turned on (caps lock= fn) it makes it much easier.
This is my first keyboard with Cherry stabilizers. I've seen many reviews and comments about how stiffer and mushier they're suppose to feel but I have to say they feel great to me. I don't know if they all feel like this or the Pok3r just happens to have great Cherry stabs. I've seen people say the same thing about the KUL ES-87stabilizers.
And finally, I ordered this from mechanicalkeyboards.com and to ship it to Canada it was $25.45 but since it was free shipping in the states, I ordered it at a friends address (I live right next to the border). Canada Customs charged me $19.68, which was the tax. I did not pay any duty on it. Score!
