That's what I've heard. I've been debating getting one. I used my daughter's step-stool a few times to raise my legs, and I did notice a marginal improvement.

LoL.  Saw a commercial for these a while back,  and considered ordering one.  I have a stepping stool that should be around the same height.  I have been wondering if that would work the same?

Finally got the Pier Solar official strat guide the other day. Beautiful work on it, and almost 500 pages long! This thing has been a long time coming and a difficult road for the amazing folks over at Watermelon Factory, especially having it's main contributor pass away only months from it's completion.
I've already played through Pier Solar, but there seems to be a lot I missed so it's an excuse to replay it and find all the secrets.

What did you think of the game? I've been debating getting it on Genesis or DC.

What did you think of the game? I've been debating getting it on Genesis or DC.

The HD version (DC and PC) apparently has a bunch of additional content, although I played it on Genesis. It a very solid RPG and one of the best looking games on the system for sure. The writing is top notch and they obviously spent a ton of time on the script and dialogue. It plays very much like an RPG from the 90s and it does not really do anything mechanic-wise that is new or exciting. in fact a lot of the things that have been improved in game design over the last 20 years are omitted to give it that old school feel. So it is not streamlined, there is plenty of tedious battles, grinding, and menus BUT I happen to love old school JRPGs so this fits in my wheelhouse. For younger people who expect games to be immediately rewarding and well-paced will likely find Pier Solar to not be their thing. You will notice a lot of places where you might think "this could have been made easier or streamlined better" but that's part of it's charm I think. Personally I'd get it on the DC for the better soundtrack, because the Genesis sounds like poop.

A very special package arrived a few minutes ago from Russia.

Ducky Mini MX Blue with Cyrillic keycaps. I ordered it from ****en.pro they have excellent support and were very very helpful. It arrived extremely fast from Moscow to United States.  They included a card that says "From Russia With Love" which is just perfect  :D They also included the Ducky Mini carrying case.

Sadly i did not. I paid about $70 after shipping.

So the story goes. There were only 6 at my local Toys R Us. The next closest one is 40+ miles away. I go and get to the video game section a couple minutes after opening
There's a guy who gets the last 2 on display and hangs around and brags to people who are looking for them that he got the last ones and was planning on buy more. Literally just stands right in the isle that the Yoshis were in.
I left and then i figured i didnt want to drive over to the next TRU if i didnt have to. I just checked ebay and a while after i had gotten home, i see someone selling a Yoshi from my city, which i assume was that guy.

I ended up just buying it off someone else.

$40 or however much i paid for it, I love it either way. Money well spent in my opinion haha.

Important thing is that you're happy  :thumb:. I hear stories about SoCal all the time on reddit, that area seems to have a notorious amiibo following. Things are calming down in my area, hardly anyone at the last 2 amiibo launches (MYY and Mii Fighters). Never had a real scalping issue, though I know people did it anyways as with all hot items. If you ever need help with getting a certain figure for retail, let me know...at one point I used to hunt for these things almost non-stop...the full collection is worth it.

That is nuts. I'm so glad I never got into the amiibo craze. I wanted to, I really did. I even got the Link for Christmas when they first came out.
But I knew what would eventually happen, that I'd get in that mindset that I'd have to collect every one, no matter the cost and time searching.
They may or may not go the route of the Beanie Baby, but for now my wallet is safe.

For now.

But not from keyboards.

Yea. I loooove it!
I don't buy other Amiibos. I just have the Yoshi ones since I love the game :)

But yea, the craze is real over here, but there are so many stores (down near LA) that if I really wanted to drive around then I'm sure I could find something I wanted.

Thanks for the offer! I'm fine with my Yoshi collection though :)

A replacement keyboard for my friend's HP G72 which I guess are known for unreliable keyboards.

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done
