There's actually a problem with the spacebar, I don't know if it applies to all 6.25x boards maybe my GON is just off, but the left stabilizer stem seems like 0.5mm too far to the right. I had to cut and shave down the side to get it to be semi-usable, but it's still not perfect. I can settle for now

Got some black blank HHKB caps. Was using white printed before, think I much prefer this look. (potato quality)

Yea, I had the Linksys but had to get rid of it because people have (stupid) xboxs and they were having issues with their Xbox live >.>

Ended up with the Negear r7000, which had a better range.

This Asus router though... Great range (on 2.4ghz) and has all the parental features,monitoring, controls, and everything else I'd like.

A pretty penny but should do the job :)
Not that the netgear is bad. Just needed a second router for a 2nd internet connection :P

POM is my favourite material. I think I found a compromise with the spacebar, seems to be working okay now and sitting fine. but still not perfect!

The netgear has better range compared to the Linksys in my situation, but the Asus beats both of them

I think those walls will give you trouble no matter which router.

The netgear would give me 3/4 bars at the furthest end of the house (router is in the middle and 2nd floor), and the Asus I get full bars no matter what end.

I'll do some better testing and I'll let you know, but the Asus so far is worth the money, by far. This is the new one they just game out with so it better work well haha

Haha it gets some good use! There's just something "off" about the way these Blues feel.  :-/  But don't worry, I put all the boards in rotation at least once a month or so.  ;)

Is the gray color nice in real-life? I was thinking about buying it, but not sure whether the gray is the "right gray". I have one in black and the white version.

I'm not gonna deny it: I planned on getting two. One to keep and to flip to help pay off for both. I was at the computer with credit card in hand just at the right time, but ultimately I didn't get permission from the missus.

I was going for one. Unfortunately the site just couldn't handle to amount of people purchasing. It crashed repeatedly for me, and apparently others also. It was just bad.
