Got in on Round 0 of the 62/60 keyboard GB. Seems pretty good so far. The layered acrylic case is an issue in terms of durability for me. My board was damaged upon arrival and lost a corner. Better packaging is definitely needed. The board isn't as durable as say a Model F so more precautions need to be taken imo. Also think the leg design needs a bit of improvement. I'll build it up at the NC meetup and test it some more. Other than my 2 concerns, it seems like a good board. I like the minimal case and the layout is what drew me to the board. Plus hot swappable switches will be fun.

Wow that looks cool, too bad about the corner though.  Any specific plans for it?

It's supposedly hot swappable so I'm going to build it Friday night or at the NC meetup. I'm thinking of modding a bunch of Zealio switches I have to 65g and plugging those in. Or I might get lazy and put a bunch of Gateron Blacks in. I'll type on it for a while, review it, and then decide what to do. Might give it away....I'll probably give it away. We'll see. I'm not that into MX boards but I like trying new stuff.

I was too dude, until I thought sod it and bought a pair. They are ridiculously comfy, I've stopped wearing Dr.Martens or Nike SB for work and moved on to the New Balance kicks. 12 hours standing up in the workshop all day and it doesn't feel like my feet are gonna fall off

Is it just me, or is the bottom edge of the case warped?
Someone apparently went up to the great philosopher Wittgenstein and said "What a lot of morons people back in the Middle Ages must have been to have looked, every morning, at the dawn and to have thought what they were seeing was the Sun going around the Earth, when every school kid knows that the Earth goes around the Sun", to which Wittgenstein replied "Yeah, but I wonder what it would have looked like if the Sun had been going around the Earth?"

Looks almost as bad as the M's I pulled out of the e-waste recycler a couple years ago. Some were even dirtier lol. Can't believe they will work with some cleaning considering how bad they look.

100 white dampened Alps switches courtesy of merlin64.  Feel nice and smooth with a pretty good tactile bump.  Looking forward to giving these a go.

The editions do matter, especially for translated texts. Nevertheless, for Frankenstein it wouldn't matter that much. My professors were cool and said the editions weren't as big a deal if the text was nearly identical (for English-written works, however). I got my BA and MA in English, so I was used to getting novels for all my classes. It got too expensive, though, and toward the end I just ended up finding what editions I could from the local library.

Seeing as Flood's text is a Norton edition, I'd imagine the professor wants to use the annotations, but I can't imagine the annotations would be that critical for Frankenstein, unless you don't know the background that well. It would be awful if Flood's prof doesn't even make use of the essays/annotations, but it wouldn't surprise me.

He's just really particular about these things. We didn't even read any of the essays that are in this version.

 :(

Oh, ha ha! Didn't see the later replies.
Yea it was pretty useless to have asked for us to purchase this text. He was taken back that someone wanted to use a non norton edition that they had previously bought. I'll go back and read the extra content on my own time as I am interested in what others have to say, but for this class the book didn't provide anything to me besides page numbers for quotes.
I used to date someone who was working on her doctorate,  and she said they require specific texts in some cases because of kickbacks. It was one of the things she hated about academia.
