Two packages arrived early in the morning, woohoo! Massdrop delivered my Gunnar computer glasses today. And some Helping Hands I ordered off of eBay to help with soldering my first board(s).  ;D

(Sorry for the photatos. Camera wouldn't focus right.)

Does anyone know what type of tubing I should use to protect the alligator clips from damaging sensitive objects like PCB's? I was considering just ordering some heat shrink tubing like this, but if there are better options I would love to hear them.

The Gunnar Optics are really nice. I've already been using the program f.lux to assist with the blue light issue. But these glasses seem to do the same thing and possibly even better. So far I am very impressed with them and would highly recommend these to anyone who uses a monitor.

If you don't have the money to spend on computer glasses... F.lux works great too.

Just got a shipment of SIP sockets and Gateron Yellows today. I ended up buying out all of SwitchTop's Gateron Yellows (321 to be exact). Now I'm just waiting on a Taobao shipment for 300 Aristotle switches and I'm going to hopefully be making 300 Aristotle "Double-Clicks".  ;D

it's a local set from a gameshop in singapore.
there's a lot of stocks here, they're bringing in the super family computer/famicom (the white/maroon color nintendo) in the next few weeks.
right now they only have this and the japan edition of the famicon

i like it. but the fact that it only has 30 games and no way to add more, is a downer.
