Also ever since this current gen of consoles has come out, I've kinda lost hope in buying one. Not sure if I'm just getting older or exclusive console games are getting worse - maybe both. And man after going 1440p, I can't live that 1080 life anymore lol.

Very true words about what consoles have become to be with this gen. Getting older might be a factor in this, but as we aren't the only ones to see this its pretty fair to assume console exclusive as well as hardware have gotten worse quite a bit.

Back when the last gen consoles released, they where actually quite powerful, up do date with computer technology and comparably cheap which doesn't seem to be the case at all anymore.

I even remember those pictures of early PS3s (able to run linux native) being used as servers for example.
(as Warhawk server but also even by the air force I believe)

Imagine anyone doing this today...

Don't you guys just hate that some games are "exclusively"  made for amd/nvdia
For example I run 2 x 290s water-cooled and overclocked
But I can't get steady,  all ultra,  1440p on far cry 4 since it's the "nvdia, the way it meant to be played"

Arghhhh

Toxic BBV2s from Cottonsox!

L-R: Toxic T1, Toxic Ooze, Reactor Core. All MX

GB Kit with toxic (toxic stripe)

Reactor Core with toxic (reverse mods)

All 3 together

Whole Bro Caps collection. Most of these are used to coordinate with a specific keycap set.

Different angle. All are MX except the BS cap at the top.

Finally got the Dolch PAC in the mail!
I was dying to see if it worked, so I salvaged a PS/2 cable from a crusty old rubberdome and soldered it to the PCB.

It does! The hardest part of getting it to work was scraping off 25 year old hardened glue on the screwheads so I could open it up!
Some keys don't click as loudly as others, but they all work. Since I'm a bottom-out typist anyway, I don't mind.

;D I'm sure I've seen yours in the Post your 1800 thread. I don't have any keycaps to pimp it yet, but GMK Hyperfuse is coming *drool*

I got this primarily to get dimensions of the PCB and make a new 1800 PCB (and a Dolch PAC inspired case). Not sure if I should leave the vintage blues in it, or swap them out with Gateron Blacks... I'm keen to try them out on something.

Trade came through :D

Congrats - looking good :)

My first CC Skull was a 3D!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
