Thanks! It's in really good shape, looks like it's barely even been used. I was hoping maybe it would come with the box and the spare keys to swap and that the seller had just forgotten to include them in the picture but it didn't. For the price I definitely can't complain though.

Not sure how I feel about the variable weighting, the 30g-ish outer keys have basically no tactility to them at all. It might be okay on a 30g uniform but with the middle being 45g the contrast between them feels strange. Almost like I'm pressing the pinky/ring finger keys wrong or something lol.

Realforce EK45 (Silenced)  |  Realforce 87UW (45g)  |  Realforce 87UWS (Variable)
Filco MJ2 TKL (Cherry Clears)  |  Phantom 87 (78g Gateron Clears)  |  Phantom 86 (67g Zealios)

Blank HHKB Type-S with a Realforce red arrow cluster. I regret the day I sold my other Type-S, and since I'm getting a promotion (and rather substantial salary increase) at work, I figured I'd treat myself.

From yesterday ...

107528-0
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thought I could share some pics.

The keycaps are slightly too large to be MX compatible, the switches seem to work with magnetism - couldn't find information about them though.

So what are we looking at here?

Nothing keyboard related today :(

BUT, I did get some mail.

The amazon box I was expecting. The large envelope is a mystery...

It's a Beer Nerd shirt!!! :D

The story behind it: I had some family come down, and I noticed one of them was wearing that shirt. They told me all about this brewery they started going to, and that's where they got the shirt from. I was NOT expecting them to nab one for me at all. I should probably write a thank you back (or at least post on their facebook wall  :p)

Amazon box was from Prime Pantry. Should just be called Pantry...ordered Sunday night and it just got here. Only things I don't like about pantry are the lack of bulk items and the slow $6 shipping (it's a transition from regular prime shipping).

Anyways, here's my loot: 12ct Surge, 16ct pop-tarts (for work snacks), and some assorted munchies  ^-^
