It is so little!  I am having a hard time imagining how small this build is going to be.

It uses a proprietary fan.  If you get a bit DIY with some zip ties or paper clips, it looks pretty easy.  The fan is 92mm, so if you have the room, a full thickness 92mm fan should work.  I emailed Cryorig about a mounting kit to replace the stock fan and they said one is in the works, but didn't have an eta.  I plan on mounting it as is, but with some AS5 compound.  If the temps aren't good and I have the room, I will be going to a higher static pressure fan.

I don't think you will get much better cooling even with a high cfm fan.  The whole unit was designed to fit into the "no placement zone" on the mobo and therefore only has so much surface area for cooling.  I believe the only increases you will see is via a higher static pressure fan to get the air through the unit better.  Probably no more than a degree or 2 difference even then.

My Node finally showed up.  Perfect size for where I was planning on putting it.   :thumb:
I was going to sit it on top of the receiver, but then it would just be pulling the hot air out of it into an already thermally limited case.  Sitting up behind my monitor works perfectly and allows me to get all of my cables really short and in one place.

Another good mail day.  In addition to the Modern Selectric Set, I received a Rhodia meeting book and some stickers for work, Pepper spray for the pit bull that the people down the street are intent on not keeping on a leash :(, a new ultralight water bottle for my outdoor activity (actually two), the pcb for the custom keyboard that I'm going to work on (not in the image), and some materials for doing some acrylic work I'm going to try my hand in (also not in the image).

I had been looking for a Deep Star in MX for awhile but traded for one just a week or two ago and love it even more in person than I did in the pictures!  That Fugu is certainly awesome though so I would hold onto that one ;)
