So I just my PBTs a few days ago and my Gas Mask key! I figured I would share it with you all.

Well, here's mine, War Machine is down on the far right, next to Iron Man:

Oh snap, now I see you have a Rose Gold Iron man, which totally trumps my War Machine! :p

I never really liked pcb mounted blue's before as they seemed to flexible and a bit mushy. But green's on the plate is great. Super nice to type on and demik (RIP) would be proud to see me switch over

This is the prototype 1800 plate. Its based off a design file from KBD, but with the phantom style switch cutouts added. It needs a couple more tweaks and then there will be a GB for them

Does your case close properly with the plate in there? Seems there is very little room for the plate inside the case

The case supports must be cut down in I think 5 places for it to fit. once that is done it closes just fine. Guess I should have taken a picture with the top case off. i'll do that tonight

yea for some of the cherry keyboard mods the rest of the world is way behind KBD, especially 1800 stuff. i've seen the plates & custom pcb's they had years ago on KBD. we'll catch up someday $:-\$

I mean because they have had custom plates & pcb's and stuff for cherry boards for like 3-5 years now and i'm just trying to do that here now.

Agreed. Does anybody know if bright leds would make those engraved white pbt keycaps glow/bleed through? I've seen some awesome pics of white keycaps being lit up by backlighting. I think it looks cool.

I think that really depends on the thickness of the caps and colour of your LED

How iSight getting through those PBTs? Is it the color?

My black PBTs aren't thick but no light gets through.
