No, the problem is simply low light. Brighter light will make a better pic. Also use the macro setting, if there is one. And it looks like it could be a cell phone pic, and cellphone camera needs the best lighting of all.

Oh and great Clack, btw, I love the Black and Red, so awesome.

That color is listed as well as the name of the color. Tis for clarity in a picture that doesn't have very good lighting etc.

Referring to the "cardinal, bondie, crimson, ultramarine, aureolin, tickle me pink" and mint green, and mint gum are the same.

I reiterate, that the descriptive color is to tell the color of the skull in case of bad lighting, or in the case of tricolors, to show each of the three colors.

I guess Wikipedia makes up color shade names. And I'm sorry I don't have color accurate pictures. You're more than welcome to make your own Wiki account, update the article, and fix it the way you see fit.

I don't see what the deal is with using actual color names to name the colors used. Some people will never get to see CCs other than in photos, and some photos are so bad, you can't hope to determine what color some of them actually are. The colors are actually HELPFUL.

I think you are doing a good job, there are just a bunch of hyenas, that's all.

Anyway, I think there should be 2-3 more pictures for every clack, 1 clack doesn't really justify and helps the person to clarify the color. Just a suggestion, good luck. : )

Adjusting the white balance before updating to the wiki might produce more accurate photos. You can always double check with a PM to verify if they look like the adjusted photo in real life

Actually, I thought that was where they were going to go with the whole putting them on a white piece of paper. I thought that was the point.

Instead of trying to imprint YOUR interpretation of the color to the CC, why not just leave the pictures and let people decide for themselves; you're misleading them more than helping them. Why would you try to decide what the color of the CC is if you don't know what it is?

I'd like to name my "Brandies" translucent, "blue-balled frozen smurf" as I think that is a better description of the color.
