Garbage image because we need to make up for all the **** talking and opinions:
My 2¢: People can keep/collect whatever they want. People can pay whatever they want for something. People can sell at whatever they want but will only complete a transaction at what someone else is willing to pay. Flipping is part of life "buy low sell high". Other art forms have prints and originals. Clacks and artisans in general could be the same way, but ultimately it is up to the artist to decide how to sell their art. When only originals are sold in limited quantities it is inevitable that price/value will go up as they become popular and demand exceeds supply.
Clack karma is also very weird. I was searching for Drunken skull for ages, trying to trade something nice to get it, and others trying to find me one for a three way trade. Eventually I just sold a clack I had to someone that really wanted it and had also been searching for awhile. Not long after that a Drunken goes up on eBay and I get it with the money from the sale I was reluctant to do, but I'm sure made someone's day.
