Did you just glue the stem back on?
Yeah, there was only a small chip missing between the two pieces (so they still fit together well), and I didn't want to bother Clack about it because it was during all of the CV mess, so I went the glue route. To repair the stem- I lightly sanded each side of the break, then applied glue in between the pieces, then a thin coat around the outside, and a thicker coat on the inside. Wound up going through a few different types of glue, Gorilla Epoxy seemed to produce the best hold (even though it had a lower PSI than some of the other stuff I tried).
I was pulling it off/adding it back on 10 times a night to test the integrity of the stem, and by the time I shipped it off it hadn't snapped for a few weeks, so hopefully it's still good to go (owner now inactive so idk). I made sure to send along black/purple sliders where I had cut the bottoms out though, so the stem could be retrieved easily just by pulling some wire/string through (should it break again).
