Er, I don't even know how to check, but it's just one switch with two dummies underneath if that helps. I would prefer the standard IBM layout but hey, beggars can't be choosers. This *is* the cheapest Cherry Brown board out there, and unlike most other people (it seems), I'm quite happy with the build quality and everything else. I figure I will just get used to the layout with daily typing and gaming...

The product name is "Ducky Chong Qing Jie DK-1008 black-axis mechanical keyboard" but in the product description it says "Cherry independent axis design of the original Green" which translates to cherry mx blues?

If you want Filcos, you're going to have to turn to Armygroup. I think PChome is all out of Filcos. They have some ducky keyboards left, but be sure to use global.pchome.com.tw

There's a thread about Armygroup here. It also includes a guide similar to the one on this thread.

from what i read on the Chinese KBC forum, according to Ducky they have stopped the 1087 production and they've been working on a new 80% model.

Thank you for information. I was waiting from weekend to weekend checking if tankyless model would appear but now my hope is gone.
Now I'm thinking about DK-1008 model with brown cherries. To be honest I'm determined to buy this one.

Just wanted to give praise where it's due- I just got my Ducky tenkeyless with blacks today, it arrived very quickly and it was packed great! Zero damage to the box or the keyboard. The wrist rest is nice, and the price for all of it shipped was oustanding.

I can highly recommend PChome if they have something you're interested in. As for the Ducky Keyboard- I've never felt a mechanical before, so I can't compare it's quality vs. anything else out there, but in my hands it feels great, I love the detachable USB cable, and the feel of the switches.

they are engraved caps. with Chinese font, which ducky are the only one has it.
Chinese engraved. it looks sexy, it is QWERTY added with chinese font, so it works fine like your regular qwerty layout.

The 1087 is discontinued so there might not be more with English caps.
