The browning of the PBT is caused by usage?

Those are surprisingly thick PBT keys for such a low-priced keyboard. I really hope ducky isn't one of those "too good to be true" deals.

*face palm* you called a $130 keyboard low-priced? A well-built mechanical keyboard should cost less than $100. You can't just presume the quality of a keyboard based on the price. Filco (good example of overpriced keyboard in North America) is never that expensive in East Asia and it is ridiculous to buy a well-built keyboard with ABS keycaps for $160++.

If Filco is overpriced in North America, wait till u see the prices of Filco in Singapore.
Filco w/ Red-ESC & Lavender WASD here cost USD$175.
Steelseries 6Gv2 alone here cost USD$155.
Razer Deathadder here cost USD$70

Everything here is expensive expect Food.
Alot of greedy local distributors mark up products by more than 50% above MSRP.
We face ridiculous mark ups but the average annual salary is USD$18,000 after Tax.

MO conducted here in Singapore allows us to get Duckys at a reasonable USD$110 upwards depending of model/keycaps.

Side Note : The government here tax 110% on all vehicle imports and charge another USD$30,000 for Certifiable of Entitlement which require you to renew every 10year (another USD$30,000)

I just registered to say thank you for making this thread. I'd been trying to get my hands on a ducky keyboard for a while.

Yesterday, the two duckies I ordered last week from PChome arrived :)
They are both "black-on-black" keyed DK-9008 boards, one with black switches and one with brown switches. They each came with a spare set of "black-on-black" keys and a couple of strange USB hub/mousemat devices were also thrown in for free.

Interestingly, the black switched board came in a fake velvet pouch and had some orange replacement WASD keys, while the tea-axis board didn't have the bag and the bundled WASD keys are grey. No red escape keys, sadly.

By the way, in case anyone else was having trouble, the answer to the registration question isn't DIN!

Okay, I just picked my package from customs. Had to pay 24€taxes.

Here's a picture showing that the package was actually a little damaged. Thankfully everything inside was okay. Simple reason for this in my case was simply too big of a box for just one keyboard.

And here are a few pictures of the ducky set up next to my Das.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but I'm not too sure about how I like these brown switches yet. I'm gonna have to give it a good burn in at work to determine my opinion about the browns.

Oh almost forgot. The postage was marked at 2020TWD on the box, so I quess about the same as shipping to the US.

I ordered 2 last Friday, and just received them today(Wednesday) morning.  The outer packaging was a bit beat up, but inside, other than a slightly crumpled corner on one of they keyboard boxes, everything was fine.   Amazingly quick shipping for $20, for 2 keyboards.

The 2 I ordered, were:
1. A 108 key mixed-axis/PBT, with english+chinese keycapse.  Mixed-axis refers to it having 3 different cherry key types, brown for letters, blue for keypad, black for most of the rest.  The different key types sounded interesting, and I figured I could mod it later if I hated it.  I've been using it about 10 minutes, and so far I like it.  It's hooked up to a KVM switch via PS/2 and n-key rollover seems to be working just fine, can hold down 15+ keys and they all register on the Optimus Maximus keyboard demo.

The letters on this one appear to be printed somehow, though there's a slight relief, so they might be laser etched/filled.  Hope the printing and coating lasts longer than the Filcos.

Extras in the box with this one were a simple plastic key puller, 3 purple WASD keys(I use ASDX.. so no help there), and 2 red keys, one says Ducky, the other has the Ducky logo on it.

2. A brown(tea) axis DK-9008, english only.  It's definately laser etched/filled, very similar to the Cherry 3494.   I haven't used it yet.  I expect it'll be pretty similar to the Filco brown, which has been great.

The extras included with this one, were a simple plastic key puller, and off-white WASD keys.

They threw in 2 funky mouse pads with USB ports, that I doubt I'll be using.  And a leather ducky keyboard wrist rest, which seems a tad hard at first touch, but I may try it later.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I'd wanted a Ducky since I heard about them.

Here's what the box looked like when it arrived:

I'm thinking the packaging gets better if you buy more than one or two keyboards at a time.

I'm now debating myself if I should buy another ducky 1087 with mx blues since I obviously love them a lot more than browns. Good thing they're out of stock right now.

I know this is a PChome thread, but I was wandering if someone could offer some advice on the Armygroup form filling process,

I'm being asked if I want "Do not packing" or "Exquisite packaging of goods" translated from chinese to English, does the do not packing option literally mean no packaging at all, or just the standard wrapped bubble rap? Because the other option is another $50.
