I know this is a PChome thread, but I was wandering if someone could offer some advice on the Armygroup form filling process,

I'm being asked if I want "Do not packing" or "Exquisite packaging of goods" translated from chinese to English, does the do not packing option literally mean no packaging at all, or just the standard wrapped bubble rap? Because the other option is another $50.

I think they mean to ask you if you want your products wrapped in gift paper. Could someone confirm this?

I was just looking through pchome and noticed they don't have any mx blue tenkeyless keyboards in stock. I've already decided I'd get one but haven't decided between the Filco and the Ducky yet. I quess I'll pull the trigger on the one that comes to stock first.

Oh BTW for an update, I received my keyboard with the wrist rest and the extra keycaps.  Box was a little beat up, but aside from that, the keyboard is in perfect shape!  Loving these brown switches!

I haven't seen a guide but I just used Google Chrome and translated each page as I went along. It was pretty easy and straightforward.

That board is also a DK-9008, but the keycaps are cool looking black-on-black style. They also throw in a spare set of black-on-black keycaps. It's also the cheapest of the 9008 options, at only NT$3390, thanks to some special sale. That is the type I just bought.

The other DK-9008 options are normal (white on black keys) but with a wrist rest for NT$3790:

http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAD80-A45366235&SR_NO=DCAH0X&ROWNO=23&tm=u

or with PBT keys for NT$4090:

http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAH0X-A50302994&SR_NO=DCAH0X&ROWNO=21&tm=u

As far as I can tell, the only option for an English PBT keyed 9008 is the version with mixed switches.

Eh so they don't have stock for ENglish PBT 9008 o_O; ??? wow why not.

Mixed switches too funky for me :X

Anyway, so if the PBT keys is for NT$4090; how much with the ducky palm rest ? Just want to compare prices :x

Welcome to Geekhack!

I dunno for sure but it seems like less than a week to North America.

EMS is FAST and EFFICIENT.

All  they need to do now is hire some English translators.

My thoughts exactly, google chrome Translate worked fluidly but they could expand their market if they incorporated an english translated site.

Anyone know what's the product page for the tenkeyless size wrist wrest, if there is one at PChome? I think I only found one leather wrist wrest and ordered that one, but it was the full size one. Then I saw a tenkeyless size that Panda-R posted and started thinking if one could be bought from PChome. Like this:

Some interesting information. Evidently the black ones are full size and the red ones are 80%.

When I placed the group order they only had four black left so I ordered a red for myself.

Red one doesn't look too bad. Think an all white filco/ducky would make it match!

How do they feel?

I sniffed my leather gloves and they don't really smell anymore.

I can definitely get a whiff of something when I hold it up to my nose. Does pleather have have a scent?

So my Tenkeyless Filco with Blues showed up. Came with a Card Reader of some sort, Lavender WASD keys, Red Filco and Esc keys, and a puller. Was really hoping to get Yellow WASD keys.

Anyone up to sell me their yellow WASD for the cheap? :p

Everything looks fairly good, I'm in a bit of a hurry so no pics. Box was in all right shaped (some crushing on the outside) but there was enough packing material that the Filco box was unharmed.

Also, ordered Saturday night, arrived Friday. Pretty damn fast shipping overseas. Will probably get a Ducky ordered up soon now as well.

Oredered my keyboard from taiwan on the evening of dec 1st, already 2nd in taiwan.  it has since cleared customs in LA and im guessing should be put on a truck for delivery tomorrow (I live in so-cal).

I also ordered (not related at all) a new headset on ebay on nov 28 (date item was paid for) shipped on nov 29.  And it is still in focking NJ and not expected to get here until dec 6. LOL

2 thumbs up for PCHome if it can fly from around the world, clear customs and still be delivered before a domestic shipment ordered 3 days prior.

Obviously they dont actually handle the shipping of the items.  But they did choose the vendor who is handling it.  EMS I believe?  Either way, I am surprised at how quickly they processed the order and got it sent out.  Also just thought it was funny how something from Taiwan is able to get here before a domestic package that had a 3 day head start... just say'n

imma not grouchy.. imma just saying it's like giving props to the wrong person. It'd be more fair to say thx to the taiwan postal service for putting in on a plane so quickly, thx for boeing or airbus for making such a fast plane, thx for the pilot that flew the plane, thx the customs for processing EMS packages with priority, and thx for the local post to deliver it to your house, than to say thx to PCHOME for fast shipment :D

i give props to pchome for shipping it out their door quickly, but no props for their crappy packaging.

Thanks for that.  It's not always easy to be critical of something after you've spent considerable $$ and time (jumping through Chinese "hoops") to order.  I hadn't noticed some of these qualities in the other pics that I've come across.  I had been considering it but if this is par for the course then I will pass.

Also, has anyone compared the ducky leather wrist pads against those from Elitekeyboards?
