Many people in the US have had their packages delivered in 2 business days from PCHome. I had a CM Storm ordered on a Friday, and it came on the following Tuesday.
CM Storm Cherry MX Red Tenkeyless - Black Engraved PBT, SC2, Novelty, RGBY, Red Esc Doubleshots
Leopold Cherry MX Brown Tenkeyless - Stock

So how long does it usually take for the keyboards to get delivered to a buyer in the USA who buys from PCHome?  Rough estimate...two weeks, one week, etc?

Took me a week with the last keyboard I ordered.  Ordered on a Monday, received the keyboard on the following Monday.

Hi,

I got tempted to order 1087 mx brown ducky.
But I'm starting to get a little worried.
I've ordered it on the last tuesday, paypal payment went right away but I got the following status ever since:

訂單成立
and translated by chrome: Orders the establishment of

What's going on? It's been 6 days or almost 4 work days if you will.

EDIT:
there is a message in the "problem query" thingy that says they have to verify the credit card transaction and such and they forgive for the delay (though I didn't use the card just my paypal account that i had money on), and I'm not really sure if the message is related to the current status or it's an old thing.

It tourned out that the status: Orders the estabilishment of means everything went fine and the package was send. I wonder why nobody could tell me that. Actually the package was send immediately day after the purchase, I've just missed the tracking number to my local postoffice.

Pchome seems very professional, labeling the package with its true value which makes passing customs fast, unfortunately you won't get away with paying VAT that way, which is 23% in my case if the package value is above 22 euros, well I guess thats how it is and it gotta be.

If it comes to the keyboard, the ducky 1087 with mx browns, it's very nice. I've switched from the blackwidow and even the quality seems a lot better. I'm not yet sure if I like browns more than blues.

Two things to note:
- nobody said the spacebar is gonna have cheery mx black switch underneath. I'm quite happy I could try linear switches that way, but could anybody tell me what's the resoning of putting mx black there? I don't think its quiter that way cause browns are not loud to begin with, it's heavier tho.
- the keyboard put on the desk was wobbling but it went away fast, I guess the rubber feets had to accomodate.

Anyway I'm very happy with the purchase, even though it wasn't that cheap I thought it will be. It's a big leap over the blackwidow I used.

Spacebar switches from Ducky is a mixed bag.
I've since spacebar switches matching the layout, or using heavier switches, like in your case.

The reason is probably you hit your spacebar harder with your thumb, so putting a heavier switch should probably even out the key weighting.

Is there a simple $75ish ducky board with reds available?

Finding traversing that site quite difficult since I have no understanding of the language at all.

At vor, if you go to the DK 1087s from the link in the OP to the various ducky boards, then the third link down is with browns I believe. I can't post links as a new poster apparently. Also, check with someone else first.

Use Chrome, it'll give you the option to translate, and after browsing for a while it'll ask you to always translate - you must be able to understand Chinglish though as it won't exactly sound correct, but just try and work out wtf it's trying to say, and roll with it.

And there isn't a Ducky 1087 with reds, but the CM Storm is pretty damn cheap anyway, so just get that.

Ducky 1087 with Cherry MX Red do exist and they cost about NT$2500 from inpad.com.tw. But that website has not simple click-and-pay method for international shipping. Their response via IM is slow and they only converse in Chinese I think. PCHOME do not sell them. You will be better off buying a Leopold with Reds imho.

It will be my first mechanical so I was not really sure what switches to get anyway. Since I couldn't find one with reds I got a 1087 with blacks as I'm mainly using it for gaming.

I will report back how I get on with it.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Can you find the tracking number based on the guide in the first page.
Or did they even shipped it yet?

I found the tracking number using the guide and its "awaiting customs clearance" as of the 1st. I don't know how long that's likely to take but whatever, at least I know it's on its way.

They don't need to pay any taxes as US imports everything from Asia.

I'd like to place an order and it's >5kg. It's 5,2Kg by their calculator (but it's bull****, so the order is much less than 5kg, I'm sure).
I'd like to ask them to send me PayPal invoice with the correct shipping price.

Hi, for an estimate do this:

Cost + Shipping = Price

(Price * 0.2) (VAt @ 20%) + ~£13 Parcelforce "admin fee"

Have not personally received anything from pchome but that is a good way to work out an estimate of the real cost.

If the Price is > £114, - consider getting a Filco from the keyboardco.com.
