is this true of the slider or just the spring config? have you tried green sliders with 45g springs?

that's what i've heard -- just curious to see if lighter springs make them louder.
i wish there was a way to quiet down blues a bit without making them too heavy. my hands are strong and calloused from drumming but my fingers are weak.
