I can't remember who it was, i think it was jwaz, got a bit worked up in irc and said that dolch boards are worth no more than $60 since they're common and always in good condition (since the kbd folds away).

Well they might only be worth $60 but right now it's near impossible to buy one for $60.  :(

In fact I will pay $70 shipped for one in good condition right now  :thumb:

Wyse has that certain look, doesn't it :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The case is very sturdy!

The Alphas aren't bad contrast wise when you see them in person, but the mods are pretty terrible in terms of contrast.
