No, I've just been busy, forgot to PM you about them ._.

But as of now, the remaining caps are going on hold until I get more time after finals to worry about getting rid of things.

Got the 6u spacebar today.  Went to put it on to see how off it looked with my setup, and what do you know, the orange spacebar's stab mounts are a cm or 2 wider than the cherry cap.  For now I guess it will keep my 10u wyse spacebar company...
Thanks again for the cap!

Updated OP for ya :P I might have sourced a few caps, so I'll wait until that grab bag comes in before promising to buy from someone else.  That and I don't have money for keyboard things right now :s

If you could get me a pic of some ALPS caps, I'll see if there's anything interesting ya got :)

Nice caps killer!

Do you still have the off center 'super' cap and an orange 2.25 cap to send away? I would gladly take them off your hands.
Any chance the 7 unit spacebar is orange?

The super off-center cap is gone, and I'm not sure of the spacebar units. I plan on putting up all the rest of the Orange caps I still have later today. Since I haven't heard back from a few people, I still have one spacebar, and ISO enter, and a bunch of those 'normal' caps

btw, it's kmiller ._.

There are PBT lasered keys on my clear POS boards. So many people backed out (after saying they'd pay X amounts) that I still have 3 I believe.

Cherry didn't make white on black lasered PBT. I have a modded G81 with lasered POM if you want that. The helical spring has been removed from all 104 switches making the MY's lighter than MX red. The removed helical springs, driver CD for macros, manual, and original box are also included. It is also full ANSI as you can see.

ahha! good catch. I had just read that in fact the white on black lasers were POM. should have updated that accordingly.

And as you can see in my sig, a G81 would be a perfect fit for my board. Now the real question, price shipped CONUS? and would you be wiling to part just caps?

I have a USB PCB so I should be able to mod it to USB without a problem if you want me to. Since modding MY switches takes fucking forever I'd like to get $75 + shipping/paypal for the whole board (which is fair considering the time put into it). I don't really want to sell the caps off of it because then it might become impossible to sell the board. Modded MY's really have a distinct feel to them. I just cant seem to find a good home for it...

I don't think I'd be a good fit for that, harvest the caps, 'store' the board :/

I'm sure there's somebody out there who'll treat the board better than me, I'll have to pass.

Thanks for the offah!

Damn... You could always buy him and try him out. And then either adopt him or find someone else that'll take him in. He doesn't bite or wet the carpet, honest. He's just a freak of nature that never gets to come out of his box in the basement... It's a sad life...

So why do you want lasered instead of doubleshots? I have 3 remaining full sets for sale if you wanted doubleshots.

Yes, it lacks the 1.25 mods, and also delete, end, page down are top row as well, which is ill fitting for most other keyboard. But I may sell them cheap if you are interested still in sprite of those things. Otherwise you might check out this if no one else comes through with exactly what you are after.

Sounds like keys from a G80-3000LAMUS would be exactly what you are looking for then. Well everything except the spacebar
I just cleaned one up the other day and the keys look just about new. I'm not sure I want to strip the keys though and be stuck with the mx black board ;)

That looks like a good base for the Portal 2 keyboard project.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
