Oh, John. This is not what you want. :P

You are looking for ~300 vintage black switches. You can get vintage blacks from WYSE keyboards, or any keyboard with Cherry MX blacks from 1997 or earlier. Then you need some Korean custom springs; 55g, 62g, 65g (those are bottom out force specs, not actuation force).

I gotta somewhat agree. I already have about 350 vintages blacks, as you said, from old WYSE boards. Still need some reds and more blacks though. I need a total of about 800 switches, especially now that it looks like iMav's Poker GB may be back on again. Just got a boatload of GPL-103 and GPL-205 and have the stickers. Now I'm ready to roll. If only I had a clue what  I am doing. Oh well, the funs in the journey, right?

I thought modding switches was going to be BORING, but it's actually relaxing

^ Yeah, I'm really looking forward to giving it a shot. Saturday should be a good day, working at the kitchen island all day, getting yelled at by the wife for making a mess and watching college football (go IRISH) ... does it get any better?

Is that an offer or just part of the conversation?

Iirc, he has a thread selling those switches. So I'd say an offer.

It is an offer, link in my signature. Wasn't sure what to charge for switches so I was asking $30 for the vintage blacks that do have the larger font and cherry logo on them, and $25 for the regular blacks even though they came off of an old WYSE board. I also posted in my FS/FT thread that prices are negotiable.

I still have 101 blacks. Does all 300 you want have to come from the same source?
