I think it was a candycorn skull and regular candycorn cap, not 2 skulls.

Just paid for my cap. & thanks to EK for the fair chance of getting one! as well as the extra work of having to do it like this.

Ha, in all honesty anyone who is attempting to make a quick buck off of these really missed the point. Although I got my least favorite out of the 4, they still wouldn't be sold. I would either sell it for the exact amount bought or trade for one that I want. Then again to each is own.

I stand corrected, he wasn't even selling a clack :/

I noticed that EK have removed all the Clacks from their product list.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I still think that a limit of one per person with three sales a day 8 hours apart at a first come first serve basis would give everyone pretty much the same chance to get a key. This would also eliminate cheating because they will sell out before someone has time to go through placing several orders, and eliminate the luck factor. Some people like those socialist "do almost no work and get something for it" systems though so *shrug*.

Then again a system where people only get one key will probably promote more aftermarket sales. Those who "gotta have them all" and collect one of each will pay what ever they have to, to complete their set, and those who only have one or two keys will decide to sell for crazy prices because it will be impossible for them to get a decent collection. On second thought we are pretty much there already, CCs for almost everyone!

I think it's probably because with the normal system, if you didn't score a clack, it was "your own fault" for not being fast enough/camping enough/clicking fast enough, although the chances for scoring one were very small, at the end of the day, you felt responsible for getting it or not.  With this system, the control is taken completely out of your hands--no matter how quickly you registered, you fate was decided by a random number generator, so you feel like you have someone else to blame, even if it is a much more fair system, which it almost undoubtedly was.  It's kind of like how I feel comfortable driving fast myself, but am incredibly uncomfortable to be in the car while someone else is speeding--it's just that the feeling of control or influence is gone.  To me, though, it is nice to see a bit more diverse distribution of the caps.
