Sheesh... I didn't know key-caps could be so dangerous  ;)

Seriously though, I hope you had someone look at it if it was really bad. Anything large or deep enough would probably require some initial treatment...

...twisted it about 90 degrees so that it permanently looks deformed, that is why I only have all up 4 working fingers on my right hand.

Mafia warning?

Right hand caught in a water pump pulley assembly.  I got stupid lazy when I rested my weight on it when we were overhauling the engine.  Sometimes you need to do re-starts to see how the assembly re-acts to it's new belt installation.

A bit, but I've been touch typing for a very long time and that's what I know how to type mainly and so muscle memory is fighting me.

Hey tj,

This will be my last order change, i promise. Could you change my RoG mods to RoW mods? If not, that's okay. Thanks for the GB sir.

I believe it means that the changes/additions will not affect the tiers... At least for this GB anyway.

So are the "windows" keys for this set going to be blank like the image on the front page suggests or labeled?

They'll be the standard win7 logo.

I'll check.

Also, ISO kits will be .50 more as I'm throwing the 2 with " as it's shift input.

Also also, I've 90 orders with no paypal handles that I just sent PMs (or at least just sent 50 with 40 in the next hour) to.

That's just this round of PMs, that's why made the new form.  I sent out ~100 to people when I was trying to get int/us shipping info.

On top of questions, order mods and other stuff.

Links are all broken from when SP pulled the customization page.  Of course they fixed them...

Looks like you get stars, diamonds and win logo

Yep. Colors are RDD for red (almost indistinguishable from RBV, and a better formulation), WFK for white, and GA for grey. :)

White legend on Red base only. I don't know if TJ ever heard back from Melissa on the cost of including the other colors for ISO.

Any other color would have its own MoQ to fill.

Now, having said that, it would be more cost effective for all ISO users to just buy all three instead of splitting the 24 of you three ways and hoping all three hit the 10 MoQ.

I'll probably bill all ISO buyers for the three colors with a note explaining the costs.

But if this isn't an acceptable compromise, the popular choice has been WoR.

Bill for all three is perfect as far as I'm concerned - cheers! Won't have any real use for the RoW one, but means everyone gets what they need. Good call on the 2/" as well! Hope the hand heels soon.

Paypal address sent via PM.

Also, once you have your final counts, I'll do a very fast group buy for extra blanks in various sizes.

SP will be happiest if all the 'caps are shot in the same batch.  (Well, otherwise they won't do it for any sort of reasonable price.)

So would the cost of the ISO kit triple to $45?  I'd have to check with the chap on this end whether he'd want to pay the extra $30 for 2 more sets of caps (that he may well not need) or not.

The problem with that is fragmentation.  Who's to say that RoW or RoG will hit even 10 orders on their own?  Or even if all three hit MoQ, it's cheaper for everyone to buy all three instead of 2 @ MoQ tier just so everyone can get a color they really want.  The only other way, and I'm hesitant to offer this up again, would be to do what I did with RoG base kits.

It's just that I'd never use a RoG or WoR ISO kit so me buying them would be a waste of money basically.

Guys, the invoices will come. Don't start worrying yet. :D

ISO buyers, this is TJ's first full-fledged GB. Try to resist the urge to string him up by his toenails just yet. There is a learning curve when it comes to GB's, as TJ is finding out in an overwhelming way right now. That said, I think you guys have one of two choices here. All ISO buyers can buy the set with all three colors included, or you can get only one color, the most popular of which was WoR. Fragmenting the ISO pack into separate colors makes no sense, as it will drive all the buyers' costs per pack up. If the cost of all colors is split among all ISO pack buyers, the price increase will be lessened. If there are keycaps you won't use, you can always sell them here later.

Thank you for the kind words, jd.

My concerns with ISO center around MoQ and then fairness.  Yeah, all three may hit 10 each, but how many of those orders will be duplicate and triplicate from a handful of people that now have to pay $60 for their ISO kits (because they want all colors/helping to ensure all three hit MoQ)?

How is that more fair than everyone paying $45, getting keys they don't necessarily need and either keeping them until they do or selling them to someone who may need them to do things like turn their RA2.0 sets into ISO compatible sets?

I didn't mean to sound like I was getting at you mate but reading my post from earlier back I can see how it might seem that way - it's been a hell of a week....

I'll contact the chap on my end that wanted the ISO kit (as it's not actually me) and then get back to you as to what he wants to do

Thanks again for all the hard work!

I've taken nothing personally, and that actually wasn't a response to you anyhow.  Unfortunately, ISO users here don't get the same liberties when it comes to ordering that ANSI do and I tried to do what felt most fair to the group in general.
