I'm one of those waiting for the missing plates. I hope bavman can solve his issues (and getting the plates would be nice too

I'm starting to think this 2nd round Phantom GB is cursed. First Prof now Bavman... Let's just hope for a good ending.

At least we now have confirmation that bavman is OK and is working to get this sorted. Those are the two most important things

I'm glad to hear that everything is ok with Bavman. I was also really feeling bad for Prof for awhile, because I know he's a great guy and stuff happens. If we learn anything from these GBs, it's that communication helps during the whole process. Even when things are going bad.

Probably a stupid question, but do Phantom PCBs fit under stock Filco plates at all in terms of switch alignment?

Yes. You can use the plate with your pcb.

Hi guys. I wanted to first apologize for my absence the past several weeks. With the passing of a close family member and some financial issues (car gave out and I had to replace it) it been a little rough. My time at home has been limited and usually pretty busy.
That being said, I wanted you guys to know that I'm okay though and I haven't forgotten about this gb. I'll work my hardest to get the rest of the orders out. I have a couple domestic orders and roughly half the international orders still with me. I'm going to sit down today and sort everyone's remaining orders out and start packing again.

He has shipped a large amount of the US orders, and some of the international orders. Then he disappeared for quite a while, then posted this and hasn't said anything since..

yeah bavman seemed to me to be a good dude, and i did get mine. It sucks people still don't have theirs.

With something bad happening with bavman midway through getting out orders, the **** with prof which i--among many--am a victim of, and the plate delays (long over with now though), it just seemed like this GB had some genuine bad luck.

i don't think the same thing is going to happen with the GH60s; there is more people involved which i think means various contingencies for disasters. Though, i do feel the GH60 will experience some major delays due to an overwhelming amount of orders and the variety of those orders including all the plates that have to be cut.

This whole Phantom GB is really depressing. First Prof ****ing everything up and now almost a month of silence from bavman for some unknown reason. I'm sure he doesn't mean it in a wrong way and I hope he's ok since he was very active and supportive during the whole GB but I mean no word or response at all for this long is just weird.. Doesn't anybody know him personally so we know what's going on?
The only thing that actually was delivered even due to some difficulty were the plates by WFD and Beast as far as I know, props for that. Even though most of you don't even have em because bavman has these as well. Meh!
There are also enough people reaching out a helping hand, so buck up and let's get this over with!

At this point someone needs to reach out to him as he hasn't been on the forums in over a month.

This is the lack of communication I talk about when I see group buys go south. I understand we all face life challenges but when you have so many people depending on you this becomes a concern.

We're a community, we'll help you package, ship, and communicate Bavman if you'd just reach out and ask for it. I'd even put money down if your temporarily short on funds.

at this point we have to accept the fact that we might not see our phantoms any time soon. it's part of the risk of a GB. glad to be proven wrong.

maybe one year from now bavman will be back and fulfill all missing orders.
