No idea where mine originated from, but I first saw them on deviantART back in the 2000's when I was a 3d gfx artist and involved in art groups.

Heres some other ones :)

I have the original gameboy port. Going to have to play some when I get home. Love the music in that game.

My avatar(s) focus on Coach McGuirk from an old Adult Swim show called 'Home Movies' -- he's a soccer coach with a lot of problems, who gives horrible advice to children. I like to animate my avatars, but not disturbingly so -- no flashing lights or fast movement. Also -- why does my avatar says I'm a secret socialist? Even I don't know the answer.

I have a fondness for pancakes. I can easily say that I prefer pancakes over waffles by a certain margin. I also enjoy making them, anywhere from Swedish pancakes, red velvet, carrot cake and even a simple batch of chocolate chip banana (my nieces <3 them). I have attempted to replicate my avatar a few times. The difficult part is making sure the middle is cooked.

... and my main when I played WoW was named Pancakez, so people from Dethecus knew me by that  ^-^

I was wondering about that - cooking the middle of such thick ones, especially without burning the top and bottom.

I know a lot of people like their avatars to be representative of some facet of their online/offline persona, so I thought we might have a place to shoot the sh*t about them......

I agree about the persona thingy...remember my original avatar?

McGuirck is one of the best characters ever. I miss Home Movies.

I need to create a new avatar for myself, maybe people would like me more  ;) - possibly involving an ergodox.

its supposed to read "A NEW START" but due to him being oblivious it ended up reading "ANUS TART."

Not exactly, I just have a bit of a mancrush on the guy who runs http://hejibits.com/

He drew the last avatar I had, and the current one I have, but the current one was drawn exclusively for the level up vinyl decal pack.

In the mail ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
