{LF}Tipro caps
« on: Sat, 19 January 2013, 23:24:46 »
I'm looking for clear topped Tipro caps. I'd love this keyboard for work if I could label the layers (Autocad short cuts on layer two would make me jizz). The current caps are in German and it's hard to know what keys are where

Could you use cherry relegendables?

Should work, the 2x keys will still be a bit confusing. They might be a bit too tall depending on profile. Tipro caps are pretty low in terms of cherry profile

Is it your grey cased tipro? Can't you change the 2x caps into 1x caps? If so, might be easier to find a ton of relengendable cherry caps. Unless you need certain row profiles, that may get tricky.

You can change to 1x keys easy, but sometimes you want a 2x (like shift, control, spacebar.....)

True true. Perhaps find some POS caps that say something decent. Just trying to throw more options at you :)

Have 1x relengedable caps, those are DSA...so flat profile? Perhaps contoured is in order..

If those are typical relegendable, looks like there are 2x abs ones there.

Email sent to sales

I really hope I can get the ones on the far left since it allows two legends.

Now to find a program to print all of them off

What series of tipro caps are you looking for? MID or FREE Series?
What color do you need (black, beige, grey)?

I have these two:

I'd like the smaller one since I would mainly be using it for AutoCAD hotkeys at work. However I can't program it so I received the gray one that is programmable with my system.

However I did just get these in the mail so I should be able to get some caps off that:

If I need any I'll hit you up.

SP got back to me, $1.60 per cap, so ~$100 just for caps (not that much I know, but I don't want to pay for this out of pocket to work faster)
