I have a feeling meeting one MOQ might hinder us in getting them to accept the others. Psychologically, if they had seen one that was very close, but still not quite there, they may have accepted it, and being they accepted one under MOQ, why not all? But now they can just accept the one hitting MOQ and say no to the others. Just my point of view. Still hopeful they accept them all.

Considering Germany isn't in any great shape to ignore any extra order's for their products.  I could see this being ignored when the economy was going gang-buster's but now refusing an order due to numbers required which are all over 50%, gives you chills for this company that still holds firm to long out-dated rules.

Especially NOW when the whole world is stuffed, they should jump on any order that comes through their doors like SP does.  I doubt there will be any significant change in the near future as the economies world wide are shrinking and not expanding  .

Just my worthless 2 cents worth of rubbish  .

Consider this, what we want next time is full set and something tells me they want the same thing.

I have some ideas. Next up we will try the 'rest' of the white purple (nav, numpad and function keys) pack to round out the 2tone style. Then I think we will have voting on an alpha numerics set. From these 3 components a full set results. I feel this is a good way to do it so there is maximum flexibility instead of making really large full sets. But we will get into this later when ready to start the planning for the next groupbuy.

No, those are the 2 packs I was thinking to offer for the next one. This way with what came from this buy and then the next buy one could build a full set. I hope I am making some sense here.

Also, just to mention the production is going to be very quick. There is estimated of only 2 weeks after we submit payment.

thing is Lysol currently there are MY 7000 boards on ebay that can be bought for offer $35 + $13 shipping, but these are boards that they don't have the full number pad, missing the + and 0 big modifiers from the tenkeypad.

How are you planning on the next group buy? TKL modifiers separate in one group and TKL + numberpad in the 2nd group?

This wouldn't be fair for people with full keyboards FYI....

What we need is to make it a full set, so you need TKL + 10key numberpad in purple modifiers with white legends AND!!! +,0 modifiers from the tenkeypad white legends on BLACK keycap!!!!

If you ask me, I rather pay only for TKL modifiers purple to make it as whole, but then we are giving the shaft to the rest of the supporter of this GB that have full boards....

Ok I see where you going with it, but you do plan to go the retro style mix/match color pattern right? at least that's what I see you going with it at least.

Ok first of all, we have great news for this GB and discussing about this is really early since you'll be running the 2 tone dyesub PBT after this, oh regarding the 2 tone.... for crying out loud don't make them like Imsto did... He had the 2 win keys and the page key modifiers in letters instead of symbols!!!!!!!!!!! serious facepalm.....

Ok back to topic regarding the next GB:

1A - alpha numeric base (common A-Z, 0-9) + space bar for crying out loud = black keycaps to match the retro look right?

1B - alpha language pack (most of numeric row, additional alpha characters, punctuation) I just guess these are extra keys for the above alpha but for different layout like the ISO,Qwertz, Dvorak and few other European legends caps right?


2 - modifiers pack, my guess this is the Esc + F1-F12 (retro style I guess) and then the rest of the modifiers that are left on the right side 3row modifiers from top to bottom which they all should be in purple to match the retro look right?

3 - nav/function/numpad math keys , my guess you speak of the 10-key pad as in retro style mix between black and purple to compliment the rest of the keys retro look. FYI in the picture you have the ENTER key from the 10key pad grayed out, don't forget that one we need in purple. So no matter what we need the full 10 keypad for peeps with full boards.

Ok what you presented its covering all and everybody will be happy. Now 1 thing stays in mind, whats the final price for 300 MOQ, if price is right, then awesome!!!! but if it isn't maeby people will just go with the donor board + tenkeypad + modifiers + the extra keys needed to cover the peeps with different layouts and just drop the alpha away from the GB.

Something tells me going all out trough GMK will be cheaper, but we will know when time comes :)  FYI when I say cheaper I mean price difference of 20 bucks and more, but if GMK is few bucks more or less than just flat out makes sence to get everything from GMK straight up and not be getting stuff from donor board.

Miami with SP failed to lift off for a bunch of reasons. Maybe it will be different now as there is a lot more acceptance with colors now than there was last year. I think more people are looking for different stuff and so many people are not stuck on beige anymore. But also, I think we need to take more care with our colorways so we are not in desperate fight to make the MOQ.

I rushed to make a diagram so it was more clear what I was talking about, and there were some error, but I think the gist of it comes across. I want to make effort to have a lot of flexibility and cover as many user as possible with different layout and language while attempting to keep the sets as manageable and inexpensive as possible. Having modular system will allow to use new elements with existing sets people have and so on. Certain colorways like white on black and black on white will have a much lower priority than making new things since they are mostly readily available still in used or new old stock often for much less than new set would cost. I don't see much reason to put common things on the forefront. I feel we should focus on making new colorways and stay away from repro stuff except the rarest of the rare.

Please save Dark Gray, Black on Dark Gray and all that stuff that's been talked about for a middle-late summer GB. I'm moving soon and won't have tons of money until then

I'm with baz here.  You would of gotten an easy 300 or much more if there was a complete Cherry Key-set being offered in those colours (Black and Purple or Beige and Purple).

Only having coloured modifiers scared away most people here easily.

In the future when you want another Group Buy from GMK then PLEASE consider having a complete key-set design available.  Out of that you could decide whether to offer separate modifiers with the whole set for people to choose.

Everyone loves Cherry keys it's just here we are not offered the full set from GMK which would of been great.  I know Flynn has offered us complete B&W Cherry key-sets (bless him) but they are second-hand.

Sure, there is plans for the future, but a step at a time. I think maybe on the 3rd buy we can do all parts at once so a full set could be had in one order. Have some patience while things work out and system is developed so future buys can be well coordinated, clear, and run nice fast and smooth.
