FAQ:
Q: why am i charging for this?
A: because i have thousands of dollars into this project and i literally cannot afford to continue it without a capital injection. because it costs real money and time for me to make these things and buy parts and experiment with building assemblies up. because just the tooling for constructing these cost several hundred dollars. because just obtaining the vintage plastic cases costs more than a hundred dollars per case. because prototyping new case designs is going to cost more than a hundred for each prototype, not to mention the opportunity cost in time spent. i am far from a wealthy person, but i started this project because i believe that buckling springs are the best switch, period, and i want to do my part to bring them back into the mainstream. by testing, you're volunteering your time and money to be part of this project too. obviously, if you don't give a flying monkey about buckling springs, don't bother. but unfortunately i've reached a point where i and the other people involved can't carry the entire burden of the project ourselves.
