if we get a good group of people in, i will set it up as best i can to keep it regional, and make it so people can opt in and out of regional only, also any thought on whether the person you send to is also the person you receive from or should all be random but as regional as possible?

ok great well it looks like this is going ahead, let me provisionally suggest then that we have a signup cap of next sunday the 21st, and ill have all the admin done and the names drawn by the following friday the 26th

What was that site... drawnames? Ping Racetrack, he did the last Secret Santa around Christmas time. We did do international in that one etc. I'd find ya a link, but I'm on my tablet currently, sorry!

no trouble at all man ill sort it all out, there are a fwe sites with that sort of option, once we get some more people joining ill edit the first post a bit with some specifics and a list of participants, once i get an idea of numbers and locations we can make a better decision on the regional stuff and how to draw the names

im stoked too, thanks for joining, and if anyone has any suggestions over criteria etc please let me know, maybe a cap on post count or something, i dont want to be excluding people but i dont want people signing up for the wrong reasons either, although everyone interested so far seems to be a solid group so i like where its going

60 is the minimum to be able to post in classifieds, I think that is a good minimum. If they can make trades/sales then they can easily be in on this.

i think what i will do is have the sign up cap move up to wednesday 17th and then i will have the names drawn and sent out by friday the 19th, unless anyone has any objections ill add this to the original post, i get the feeling the sort of people who are gonna sign up for this are on the board daily anyway and we would probably have 95% of the final sign up number by tomorrow anyway, if this is a success im sure we could turn it into a regular thing anyway

yeah, i wasnt very clear in the original post,if you want to send more than just a keycap thats fine, obviously there is no maximum to what someone wants to send
