Totally. I would rather have groceries and coffee.

Wait, is coffee technically a grocery item?

Tapatalk has been an unbelievable pile of crap for me lately, at least on iOS. Nothing on my end changed and seemingly overnight it just stopped notifying me consistently, double and triple posting, timing out, etc.

Yeah it's weird, I didn't change any settings at all since yesterday. It just decided to stop working out of nowhere until that very last post from CC. Makes zero sense.

I received a Tapatalk notification of Clackvent post this morning.

I ran over to the computer and quickly fired up Thunderbird.

Then I kicked myself, dropped the mouse, spent a few milliseconds to regain my composure, and actually started the browser.

By the time I navigated to the sub-forum, and to the thread, it was locked.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I think if I make it into another round and I have the choice I will go with topre. I have no board, but I've been wanting to get one. According to some of you this is a serious problem that I need to address rather hastily.

That's what you think now... I thought so too... But then I already joined two $50 ones today... LOL!

Everyday I wrestle with this dilemma. One member told me that having one bird in your hand is better than two in the bushes. So, there!

I got the PM too, paid ASAP :D  Anyone know Clack's policy on package value?  I feel like I'd be teaching granny to suck eggs asking him to undervalue it, this can't be his first sale to a taxable land.

As I've barely started out and only have MX boards the switch choice was easy, I'm hoping to not need/want a trade but if it doesn't match my board I guess I'll have to.  The joys of the randomness...  At least I'm not JD so I'm hopeful! (thanks JD ;))

If you're not happy with your Clack let me know what you get, I've got four MX clacks that I'm keen to trade at the moment with a fifth on the way.
Thanks, I've seen your WTT and the Orangesicle looks great.  It's just sat there tormenting me as I have nothing to trade >:D

I've yet to decide anything so it won't be for a while, I have one board that I'm not a fan of (reds, too light) and lots of switches in the post to build another.  Then once I decide on switch type I need to play with keycaps, then find a set that I like the look of and then match pretty caps... and to think for the past 8 years I've just used a rubber dome without questioning it!

****! It was far too quiet all day before I realized Tappatalk wasn't sending notifications at all  >:D

That'll teach me to trust technology. Back to watching the thread like a cat watches a bug on the ceiling  :-X

Tapatalk has not been reliable at all for me but some claimed that it is always working. Some such as Mr President Hoff :p

How do you think I keep getting in, only to lose?  :P

And to all you fools wondering which stem type to get...

Checking in, hoping for an AM sale :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I was a printer repair tech for about 2 years in my late teens, **** I hated that job.

Its not my primary job by any means, I'm in network ops, but share some printer maintenance work with the client systems shop since they are under manned at the moment. We just have to go get hands on six printers, will eat up the morning until lunch.
