How did these end up coming out anyways? I think some of the stuff you have done is really great. I am currently a QFR owner and I am in the works for planning and preparing for a few series of modifications on this keyboard. I am currently looking for a better soldering station and a couple other tools that I would need to swap the switches for ergo clear, I will be painting the top case, and eventually upgrading to some better pbt key caps along with putting a sleeved cable together to go with the new mods. Have any recommendations on tools of the trade for soldering and the desoldering of the switches ?
