Nathan's High School has chosen to honor SmallFry's memory by holding a fun run/walk. I know none of you are local, but wanted to share the details with everyone here. The Nate Walter Memorial 5K Run/Walk is on October 2nd at 6:00pm at Wilmot High School. Wilmot High School is sponsoring the fun run/walk in Nathan's memory as a homecoming week activity. The cost of the event is $10 and you get a T-shirt, water and snacks following the run. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Registration deadline is September 18th. Registration forms can be found here:

If you would like to support the event, but cannot make it, please send in your registration form and money by the deadline, but mark on the form that you will not be participating in the event and to deliver your shirt to the Walter family. We will arrange to deliver your shirt to you.

We are very excited that the school has chosen to honor our son in this way.

The shirts have been ordered, but they did order some extra shirts in case there were late registrations. There are likely still shirts available. If you let me know what sizes you would need, I can check on availability.

The Run/Walk is tomorrow night (October 2nd). The school has over 700 people registered with over 650 people participating in the run/walk.

I know most of you cannot make the event and many of you registered for it, but if you cannot make the event and would like to donate to the cause, the proceeds are going to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. Donations can be made in memorial to Nathan Walter at the web site:

The Nate Walter Memorial 5K Run/Walk was a great success. There were over 750 people registered for the event and they raised over $5,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to all who chose to donate and or participate. I will be sending the shirts to those who ordered them tonight, so watch the mail in the next few days for your package.
