I could not wait any longer, i still need to solder in the resistors and in switch LEDs but i wanted to use this keyboard NOW
i love it, the NerdyGUI is fantastic and i love the feel of these stock clears on here, its actually makes a unique "thock" sound, not the same as topre but its really unique and ping free
though i can complain that the rear LEDs shine through the green Nerd60 PCB. almost forcing my hand to do white in switch LEDs.
layout is loyal to the HHKBpro2 layout except for the \|, Backspace, ESC, and ~ for better keycap compatibility but i didn't put in a stabilizer for the backspace so if i wanted to go 100% to HHKB layout i could just desolder one switch and solder in two in place, which is probably what i am going to do because i keep typing in \ when i want to backspace, which is odd because i don't do that on any other keyboard, my mind actually sees this as a real HHKB
bottom layout is 1.25, 1.5, 7, 1.5. 1.25. problem?
damn-it, as im typing im noticing my 1 key is skipping keys and is totally not working somewhat., i probably have a bad joint but that sucks, now i have to take it apart again.....
oh well here we gooooooo
in switch LEDs will either be Orange or White and i can use color changers, some switches have sip sockets like WASD as well
is it bad i want to use this keyboard instead of my ErgoDox just because it is totally cool. :O
