I have a feeling the wireless 60 with acrylic case is going to be insanely popular, I won't be able to resist
Acrylic case is already out. doesn't work with wireless.
You must mean the Crystal (polycarbonate) case
Did you really just ignore what I said about the acrylic case? Do you really think that GON has a special wireless module that will ONLY work with his Crystal housing? You're really deluded, and need to use your head a bit.
Perhaps they're not talking about the housing blocking transmission, but the case not fitting the PCB and wireless module.
Well in that case I'm an idiot and misunderstood. I'm not 100% sure about the clearance size of the wireless module.
Anyone know if GON has addressed that acrylic case with wireless anywhere?
LOL....
I'm just going to ignore what happened because this is something that I am sure many others would like to know.
The NerD 60 PCB v2.0 and TKL PCB v2.0 product pages specifically state that the acrylic cases are NOT COMPATIBLE with the wireless controllers he offers. At the moment the ONLY cases available from GON that support his wireless controllers are his polycarbonate Crystal cases.TKL:

Here are my top two theories:
1. GON sprinkles translucent powdered unicorn horns in the acrylic plastics he uses for his acrylic cases to improve the feel of the case and to increase exclusivity. Unfortunately, as we all know, unicorn horns are slightly metallic and cause the GON acrylic housings to act like Faraday cages, thus blocking Bluetooth signal completely and lending to the incompatibility of the acrylic cases with GON's wireless controller.
2. The acrylic case was engineered to super tight tolerances before the 2.0 PCBs were designed and thus can not physically accommodate the wireless versions of the new PCBs without serious modifications.
Good day.
TLDR:
GON's current Acrylic cases are incompatible with the wireless versions of the NerD 2.0 PCBs.
