This group buy is for the 6.25x OEM space bar from Tai Hao. Tai Hao is now willing to make tooling for this size space bar.

~~MOQ is 400 per colour~~ - black, yellow, green, red, and blue.

There is no more MOQ for this as long as we maintain this number.

Price:

$2 USD each for BLACK only
$2.50 USD each for GREEN, RED, YELLOW, and BLUE

price includes the tooling fees

You can refer to here for the original GB

Orders are closed.

Order Confirmation

Shipping will be separate from the original GB as this will take much longer to finish.

Timeline:
- 1 month to finish the tooling
- 1 month for production
- 1 week to ship to me

Shipping will be with bubble mailers.

I have some bad conscience towards keypop.net who first helped make this GB happen and now probably already invested in a solution for us.

However, exact colors and profile are just too tempting. Hope keypop.net find a way to cancel/absorb their investment.

Elton any chance for off center stemmed caplsock dude? don't have to be stepped........ ask them dude, this will make the set go way further!!!!! and you can pair the capslock keys with the space bars!!! like ordering black space bar will come with black off center capslock, possible? if its hard for them to make it with legends they can make it without legends.... cost should not be that much me thinks. anyways we have some keys for R4 that are blanks like the x1, this wont be too different, will look unique even if its blank, but at least will match the color and the height and people can use this set for traditional keyboards and Korean or Cherry boards.

Worst come to worse if they cant make molding for off center full touch capslock, maeby we can order the regular ones and do the stem mod ourself, but at least we have 2 Capslock keys, one off center and one centered.... I'm in for 2 of these just to make this GB happen.

I'm really not that miffed about this, because while it would have been nice to get them with the rest of the caps, they're still soooo cheap that it's like complaining about the quality of the pickles on a Krystal (or White Castle). I mean, even for a 37 key set, it would have been a good deal. And now I can get extra spacebars, so there's that.

Will get keypop spacebars as well if they still offer them. You can never have too many spacebars.

Yeah I'll see how much each weighs approx.

If it doesn't fit the envelope, I'll just use a box since it's by weight, it doesn't matter if I use either one.

Here's a photo of the universal space bar (note the orientation):

There are 6 stems:
- in the center (for all MX keyboards except Cherry G80-3000)
- 11.9 mm (5/8 units) to the right of the center (for Cherry G80-3000 and Cherry-made Das keyboard 2) It's on the left on that photo because of its orientation.
- 50 mm (2 5/8 units) to the right and to the left of the center (most MX keyboards)
- 40 mm to the right and to the left of the center (some Leopolds, Steelseries, Zowie Celeritas)

Thanks, I've just emailed Tai Hao about adding specifications to the space bar and tooling for off-centered caps lock. Will probably receive an answer on Sunday night or Monday night if she can figure something out.

Maybe I should close the order for now until I finalize the group buy. If the caps lock does go through, there will be extra cost for it and i don't want it to be the same as the original group buy where I added a dollar to the set half way through.

Elton its fine brother nobody knew about this, we only knew that they could of made x7 space bars, then it turned out that they can make the 1.5 and x1 R4 modifiers.... Lets make it this time final and get the space bar in 6.25 and the off center caps lock, this 2 addition will make this set fully complete excluding the ISO layout.
