[WTB/WTT] Full-size ANSI keyboard without switches
« on: Tue, 03 September 2013, 13:19:12 »
Anyone have a Ducky Shine/Zero/Pro, CM Trigger/XT, WASD V1, etc. that they've desoldered the switches from, and would like to convert to cash?  Or trades, of course, but my collection is more towards the "dumpster find" end of the spectrum rather than the "assembled by Korean virgins."   ;D

9/14/13 edit: No longer need the G80-3000, but still in the market for a full-size PCB plus case.  Willing to trade for it as well; Unicomp Model M, TG3-BL82 (back-lit, with MX Blacks), interesting odd lots of Alps keycaps, SkiData PCB + case, etc.

I'm open to buying a complete keyboard, if anyone is looking to move one.

Bought a used G80, no longer looking for this one.

Bought from...?

I just need the PCB, in case you hear of anyone parting one out, or units missing keys/switches/cables, etc.

Seems to be quite a few here

Yes, and plenty on eBay.de as well.  But since I only need a PCB, I'm hoping someone has one for sale for less than €50/$73.

I believe one of the Korean keyboard forums has run a group buy for a custom replacement for the G80-3000 PCB, I think Zenuty posted pictures with his replacement G80-1800 PCB. You may be able to acquire one if you have any contacts or good trade items and then it would support some fancy new features.

I appreciate the tip!  Not sure what I have to trade that would be of interest, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.   :thumb:

Sorry took a look and I only have a G80-3190, it's a bit wider and has the mag strip on the top. I have several other G80s but most of them have the mag strip as well.

Those PCBs are gorgeous!

Are they all Winkeyless, or did some include the Windows key?

Wow! The Koreans get so much good stuff, we need to step up our game. In fact I think we need a GH100.

My first post :)

I have one Cherry G80-3000 that I can sell, Cherry MX blacks, ISO layout (PT) with Windows keys and DIN connector.

I will ship it from Portugal. If you're still interested, I can check how much the shipping costs will be.

Glad if I can be of any help.

Hey mate

Did you ever get sorted with this?  If not then I might be able to help you out.  I'm currently stripping a G80-3000 for parts and have no use for the PCB if you want it.  It'd have no stabilisers with all of the stems and springs removed but with some of the switch housings left on the board.  Obviously no keycaps and also no PS/2 lead.  I'm only going to be binning it otherwise but if you want it then you can have it for the price of shipping from the UK.  Let me know if you want a photo too.

Let me know

I appreciate the offer!  However, I finally decided yesterday to just get a complete G80-3000 from eBay, with USB and ANSI layout.  More expensive than I'd hoped, but what's done is done.

I'll edit the OP, and the thread title.  Thanks!
