Mechanical keypad that works in OS X?

Any suggestions of ones you've tried? If you have a mechanical keypad and a Mac could you try for me?

I tried the Filco Brown keypad, and when you press the Num Lock or = keys the keypad locks up. Returning and looking for another.

With Ducky shine you have a DIP switch in which you can swap the windows key with the alt key. All keyboards will work but certain features work your keyboard will work. Good luck.

I think you should ask Apple to give you a good keyboard driver instead.

ducky works perfectly under osx at least the one which i have dk9008g2 pro

Right, thanks Photekq. I'm looking for an external keyPAD or number pad.

There's the Filco key PAD with Browns, but it locks up when hitting the num key.

There's the Adesso with Blue's I believe (unfortunately), anybody tried it with OS X?

Whoops, thought he said keyboard. Keycool has a 22 key mechanical keypad that is backlit.

I have exactly the same model and exactly the same problem. On a Mac.

I don't think the keypad is defective. I even think you may have the same problem with keypads from other brands. My guess is that Mac OS is the culprit here.

Instead of losing time on this problem, I have ordered Filco key locks:

and put them on the keys that lock the keypad up. Problem solved. Next.

OK, I got the Leopold keypads and they work PERFECTLY. All the keys, both with num lock and without, act as you would expect. The only key which doesn't work is the "Insert" (Num Lock off) key, but that makes perfect sense, as OS X doesn't support insert.

Great keypads, they mate well with my TECK keyboard, and they work great with OS X. Cheaper than Filco's too.
