Is KBC-3500B a PCB or Plate mount?

I brought this last year, would like to know if I can swap the switches to other without soldering.

I can tell it's plate mount by the plate.

Since it's a plate mount, you won't be able to replace switches without desoldering.

Sorry, dumb question again, could I open the switch top just change the spring & stem, make it MX red? (originally is MX black).

Nope, with plate mount you have to desolder and remove them from the plate. That is unless you have a custom plate that allow switch top removal. Your plate does not support this.

Also, red and black stems are the same except for the color. The only think you would need to change to Mx reds is the spring.
