tiresome. He was wrong.
The sight of that amazing pyramid, with steps 50 meters high, of the
most beautiful colors made him feel small and hopeless. Forming a
magnificent skull, the pyramid was the house of the Great Clack
Patriarch, the interpret of the amazing Click Clack, the one and holy
Maker.
He looked up and begun his climb.
Each step took considerable energy to conquer. The blue and red colors
made him tired, hypnotized him. They whispered to him to go back and
just enjoy the colors. He resisted their urge.
He got to the top.
There, sited on the blackest of tones, sat the Patriarch.
"I see you have surpassed the challenges to get here," he said.
"Yes. I traveled many days and waited a long time for this
opportunity."
"And what is that you seek coming here, child?"
"Your wisdom. I want to acquire my first clack, your holiness."
"Ahhh... I see." He paused for a long while. "Do you think yourself as
worthy of a clack?"
"I honestly don't know." The man looked insecure. "I have been trying
my best to be useful to the community, and help when I can, in the
ways that I can. Not that matters, as it seems the Clack gods have not
seen me fit, and so far I haven't been able to acquire one."
The old man gazed at him. "What would you do, were you to get one?"
"I would treasure it, your holiness. I'd remember it forever as my
first, and never forget the hardships that I had to go to acquire it."
"I see," the wise man whispered. "Go now."
With that a monstrous wind blew the man from the pyramid. He flew and
start to fall...
He suddenly woke up, scared from the dream. He though how amazing it
was the keyboard key caps could inspire such funny dreams. He lied
down again. However, he felt a lump under his pillow.
He took the small square into his closed hand. Afraid to look at what
was inside, thinking how could that be possible. He opened his hand and...
